Yes we're using AC5 there. I know about ceramique but that was what we had got there at the moment
Actually it was just training for future events, coz we have very poor experience of subzero OC-ing
I use the eraser for all my insulating needs.. GPU's..and mobo. Never used anything that works as good, and has such fast clean-up.

Really nice guide. :)
I made my own guide about this type of insulation on a Swedish OC forum. Even though the text is Swedish there are som nice pictures there, http://sweclockers.com/forum/showthr...readid=833961/.
Just look away when you see the crappy hole in the armaflex. ;)
What do you use to cleaning eraser, when remains are still between legs of IC's or smd parts? I tried acetone, but it doesn't work
bartx, what kind of eraser do You use? I suggest Faber-Castell - it comes off very easy from everywhere.
Just like with the old sealstring i use a bit of eraser to get the small parts of. It might depend on the brand, the one i use stays stickie forever it seems.
anyone knows where to get those faber castell one and willing to ship international ?
already search in my town, too bad its not available in my country....
Loc.o helped me with this so im using it:)
Tryed for det first time today:D
And Loc.o , it wasnt the same as the stuff you guys used but was easy to work with and worked like he..:D

Smartidiot89, You can find Dima's tables here: http://www.dimastech.it/scripts/sp.php?Id=135&lang=EN
By that carpet You mean something like that: http://www.upload.ee/image/118346/4415388.jpg ? It should work, but I don't know how the material is built. It has to be air-tight (closed-cell strucure) to use it on isolation.
Thanks :)
i am insultating my motherboard for the first time :D and this helpt alot :D
I'm gunna begin my first benching session under DICE this weekend. On Thursday I'm going to go pick up my materials for the motherboard insulation. I know where to get everything but the neoprene you guys used for the socket and ontop of the kneaded eraser.

shot of my MIIF prepped for pot.. just a little bit of vaseline on the bottom of the pot insulation, makes it air tight to the shop towel. This setup has been working great for me..still revising my NB insulation though :o
