The pic shows PC133 SD-RAM with Micron Chips. Honestly I wouldn't buy from a seller who doesn't really have a clue what he's selling. At least not from one, as dumb as this. :stick: :p:Quote:

What is the availablity on these UTT chips? Is this something we need to stock up on like it was with BH5/BH6? Or is Winbond/Infineon Able to crank out as many of these chips as the the market demands?
Same as im thinking... cant miss this oportunity like I did with the Oupost.com KHX3200 ;)Quote:

the pcb info is also hidden in the code.
for example we takt the code from here again: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/T...beide_big2.jpg
M2G9J16A0A
the 0 between the last two A stands for B6U808, 6 layer PCB
while the M.tec comes in A8A where the 8 is KO6633, 6 layer PCB
i have no idea about quantities and production of winbond/infini... we are a module house - no chip producer - but it looks like there are a lot ;)
That pic is just my attempt at humor...he lists it as "gently" used Kingston 512MB PC3200, but is selling a TwinMOS stick of PC133 in a KVR box.Quote:

Hmmm i guess my next set of ram will be twinmoss speed premiums from Newegg.
Hey Alonso,
Any clue whether the new stock that Newegg is getting will be WInbond UTT chips?
i have no idea - send them a mail asking for the product code
but i believe they will be utt cause earlier Speed Premium with PSC were limited
i am not sure if Speed Premium with UTT have BP PCB - afaik tictac´s are not BP, right? the ones tested on techpowerup have BP PCB. Have to doublecheck new shipments next week...
But UTT and BP on Speed Premium would be nice i guess ;)
I have 2x512 sticks of Speed Premium on order, along with my Athlon64 upgrade...
I will do some testing on my (hopefully back from RMA) NFII LPB, Shuttle AN35NU, and the new Neo2 Plat...
I will also take some good pics of the memory and place em up for exam...
Alonso : you're from DE ? Me from Slovenija....so almost neighbours...which town are you from ? I might come to you and steal all production of UTT :D
what gets me is that ocz speedbins the ram to 240 2-2-2. i think they should go to 250 or 260 at those same timings, most everybody in this thread with confirmed winbond UTT has been getting over 240 2-2-2 at anywhere from 3.2 to 3.4 volts. so if they want to charge that much extra for their speedbinning i say maybe they should guarantee 250 or 260, probably 250 2-2-2 3.4V.
This is maybe confusing, but I thought it might be useful,
About 1,5 years ago a bought a 40 GB Maxtor IDE with 2 MB cache, on the pcb of de harddrive there's a Winbond BH-6 chip (cache I think).
Now just a couple of day's ago a friend of mine bought a new Maxtor harddrive, I believe it was a 160 GB s-ata with 8 MB cache, on the pcb of the new harddrive was also a Winbond chip, DH-6.
Should this new Winbond chip been called DH-(4,4)/5/6?
Or am I now just talking stupid?
no winbond isnt allowed to put its name on these chips. thats probably some SDRAM or so?
why steal? the TwinMOS/M.tec is really cheap ;)Quote:

no its not. if your finding "golden sticks" it could get really expensive!
plus you could sell the bad stolen ones and make money :p:
I also saw a 40gb Maxtor 2mb cache Ide harddisk which had Winbond bh-5Quote:

Even I am confused by your statement.
esdee commented that the reviewer claimed they did not overclock very well and wouldn't he be surprised to find out just how well they do (with the UTT chips, of course). I was just stating that he should already know, because he has posted in this thread.
Were you simply stating that since //mAr's sticks were not the UTT, his conclusions were correct with respect to the sticks he reviewed and the results that the UTT chips have been getting here and elsewhere are not relevant to his review of the AADT version?
I would agree with that, if that was your point.
i'm pretty sure that is what he said/meant.
Welcome aboard........ :D :toast:Quote:

well... i have almost no power in sales so i can´t answer you that question... normally it´s all a question of demand
officially the 433/466/500 which were wlcsp are end of life - replaced by TwiSTER DDR533 and new DDR400 TwiSTER pro with TCCD
TwinMOS Speed Premium and TwiSTER pro are very new products on the market and i believe it just will take some time...
I have a simple question. Im new to xtremely ocing ram i was wondering if u guys use extreme methods of cooling or just have a properly air cooled case. So say if i put 3.2-3.4 volts vidimm with good air cooling will it damage these ch-5 twinmos premium.
Thanks Grey Fox
I heard it runs relatively cool.
Besides u can always slap on the super talent memory cooler. Works pretty well and quiet too.
Thanks situman
suspence is killing me, any word on the latest 512 speed premium at newegg. I ordered from the last batch before they sold out again. Did anyone overight these things?
I order my set on wednesday so I should get mine on monday because one of Neweggs main distribution centers is only 45 mintues from my house.Quote:

i already found this:
TMD7608F8E44D.
Hit FSB 270 MHz timing 2-2-2-5 1T with 3.5volt Vdimm
If you look back through posts, I listed Tekheads stock that I had in my hands as I had a chance to look through all the twinmoss & Adata they had. But they were out of 256 3200 sticks, so they might get the right ones in the next stock.Quote:

Hello
changing my old kingston value i saw two holes in the chips  this means that they take to Chips winbond, but my question is, is utt or can be bh/ch since these memories are old already... the problem is that single I modulate has them
Salu2
Edit: forgot to me, these have been working to cas3, that is not very normal? it can be because the other dimm was not equal?
Newegg is very lazy when it comes to finding out product info.Quote:

Thx
im still waiting for someone to tell me where to buy it in the US
Newegg- the speed premiums 256 sticks are UTT
im looking for 2*512.
well noone knows.... the 512 at newegg is suspected but never confirmed yet.
Guys, really spoke too early :D
First when I tested these sticks on Intel platform, 200FSB with 2-2-2-5 settings was extremely unstable. Now I started to test again these stick with memtest, this time on DFI 875P-T LanParty. I found out that Refresh Mode at 64µs (ICH offset 69 = 53 instead of default 52 aka 7.8µs) will kill completely overclockability of these sticks. With 64µs selected these sticks gave hundreds of errors in memtest no matter what the voltage was. After setting refresh mode to Auto (7.8µs) these sticks really started to fly :D
I was able to run benches at 255FSB 2-2-2-5 / Turbo - 7.8µs - 70µs - Enabled - Enabled - Disabled (CPC) - Enabled with only 3.45V :D
I disabled CPC because memorycontroller doesnt like to run it on over 245FSB ;)
http://www.akiba-pc.com/TwinMos-UTT/SPI1M-255FSB.jpg
http://www.akiba-pc.com/TwinMos-UTT/...Unbuffered.jpg
Sandra unbuffered takes quite big hit when refresh mode is 7.8µs instead of 64µs and CPC is disabled. After VAGP mod I should be able to run CPC on ;)
Going to try higher voltages tommorrow ;)
The Stilt, very good results there :toast:
7.8µs - 70µs whats this ? How can I change it on a AS8. My Mushy BH-5 with auto performance settings gets to 240fsb w/ 3.2v but no higher stable :( Ive also tried with CPC off but it doesnt help any.
You can change it with 865 Tweaker or Pmem.Quote:

Dont think im gunner get any higher without a good burn in and more voltage.
Well been playing with the Twinmoss (PICTURE LINK) and just can't get them to play ball in the Neo2 like I can on the Intel P4m/IS7 setup( Twinmoss UTT , IS7 & P4m LINK ).
Maximum i can get is 230mhz 2,2,5,2 1T . I know I have boot issues with Vmem (on DDR booster) set > 3.4v , but stability is just not the same. Maybe this will improve with a different NF3 board , but ill hold onto these and wait for the DFI NF4 to become available.
 Could you explain please :toast:Quote:

bump up 5mhz and redo it again....keep ram cooled with some 80mm fan above them.
I usually keep sandra mem bandwidth benchies looping for a few hours and gaming helps alot too...
Gaming does make for a pretty good burn in, an RTS like Warhammer 40K : DOW really taxes the CPU for instance.Quote:

What could this memory do

thanks... i have same code with you :D, for 277 MHz i give them 3.7 voltQuote:

Hello everyone! - New user here!
I've been reading this thread from start :p:
I went to some stores here in Greece but I only found AADT memory modules....
I'll continue searching until I find some promising AA4T modules. I want to combine this with a DFI NF4 and some 939 Athlon64 3000+
I've been reading this forum for a year and I thought it was time to sign up ;)
Let me be the fisrt to Welcome you offically to the XS forum. :toast:Quote:

TwinMOS going to test Hipro5 Maximizer... this is cool :)
I have got one pair of 512 Twinmos coded AA4T and also have the winbond circles.
I can onley checked them on 3,17v and if I leave the timings to "by speed" it does 2,5-4-4-8 at 255fsb.
When I get a chance I will try them on 3,6v.. :)
Nice to see you around here :D :toast:Quote:

Will there be new revision of TwinMOS speed premium?
Brain Power PCB + Winbond UTT = killer Ram :explode:
i have no idea atm....
Alonso,
When did TwinMOS/M.tec start using Winbond UTT in any of their products, or more to the point, when did Winbond UTT become available in general?
I apologize if this has already been asked/answered. I have tried to keep up here, but may have missed it.
i can´t answer that exactly for the moment but should be no problem cause you still know the product code to go for
first TwinMOS/M.tec with UTT passed to me in end of october as pre-samples
2 X 256MB and 2 x 512MB for comparison whould be cool I think.........Better will be with the Speed Premium....... :D :toast:Quote:

the thing is i believe wheather M.tec, Speed Premium or TwinMOS regular - go for the product code with the 4 ;)

I thought the speed premium moduals are already on the brainpower pcb. Isnt that the best already?
yes sir, but there are other winbond chips on non BP PCB's...
ill have my 2700 tommorow so if i get winbond ill let you know how they do on a lesser PCB.
thanks...mine is also winbond but not on BP pcb so wonder how is the performance like since still waiting for the DFI's mb :toast:

klisp from newegg ?

too bad, no winbond chips :(
0443D, no 4 at the end,
AADT, D instead of a 4,
no dimples
:(
Damn that sucks Klisp. These are ordered after the last restock at newegg. THis is bad. WE need to see if twinmos will swap them.
Is it known yet if the -TT on the model number is relevant to anything?
Alonso would know
probably pcb relatedQuote:
