@transit921: Resize please.
Also, why is your motherboard on the outside?
that actually looks pretty cool. nice job!
cool
Really nice...;)
@mcp: Great, simple setup. Neat colors. I always liked black & blue.
@Jokester_wild: Fantastic. It is great to see vinyl appreciator. But, I would like to ask you... That DELL display, above your dual monitor setup, is it some kind of LCD/Plasma TV or is it 30" monitor? I can't see good and I don't know what sizes are your dual displays (so I can't make good judgment). Thank you in advance.

I did a bit of a rebuild job to improve airflow. I'm thinking of getting a Radeon HD 5750-1GB and then an Antec P183 or a Lian-Li PC-K56W.
@mcp
awesome rig, love the items used and the mobo is just stunning.
but i would have routed it differently. inlet from the rad straight up to the vga and lowerd the res so the tube goes straigt to the res from the cpu as well
also how did you get the side window to fit so flush, thats awesome
@neo4ever
two 360 rads and a 480 is gnarly.
did you had any trouble fitting your psu in?
Thank you guys!!:)
Well, I can't get the res lower because of the gfx;) Not much room, for other tube routs.
And it's an inlay window made by a company in germany:

The HDD in the upper 5.25" bay has its wires coming in from the side/front of the case, sata cable goes from the mobo to the inside of the front panel, in which it goes up and comes back in within the same 5.25" bay :)
Yes, the case is as old as it looks.

I don't know about temperatures though, since it already melted into a steamy pile of plastic and fire :D
joger, good hardware, but TERRRRRIBLE case! :ROTF: Why wouldn't you buy a normal case?
well, that one dollar PC is one PC that would probably be left alone if it was off and his house was robbed, lol
Because of this: And this:  :ROTF: I got lots of laugh last time I went to this huge 2500 people LAN party.
None of it is of course related to the fact that I had to spend 2.5k EUR on my car repairs lately, and being a poor student, I am left over with 0€ for hardware. I even had to sell some to get my pills paid! :D
But the next things on my to-get list before Fermi is the Corsair H50, and some proper small ATX case.

This is all done in an Apevia X-plorer case... i really enjoyed the challenge of squeezing as much into this case as possible... i hate full towers :D
wow that's a nice desk you got there.
from ikea perhaps?
Daym, xeek, beautiful shots!
Very sleek Roch, very nice arm for that screen too.
what case is that?
@Roch for some reason I dont know why. It may be because I am on my netbook, but that CD drive looks painted on for some reason. It looks killer just looks painted on to me.
it's a cut, i saw some more pictures on [H]ard forum :)

My weak photography skills don't help, lol.
Very nice and I apologize for thinking opposite. I have been without internet for about three days and finally got it back today. I guess someone dug up a fiber line or something, so I have been having to go to barnes and nobles to use internet and my netbook isnt the best for looking at large pictures lol
Very nice work Roch.

@purplepuppet...u ever try swinging the side monitors out a lil bit to make the bezels line up better? or no room?
Edited to fit the rules :)
http://www.chemfy.fi/series/Case_MkI...0380_pieni.JPG
A few reminders:
Quote:
Four Simple Rules:
1) No larger than 1280 x 1024 pixel (but 1024 x 768 pixel is preferred),
2) The limit on the number of pictures is 4 per case (if you want to post more than 4 pictures, use thumbnails or post links without using the IMG tags),
3) Do not quote images,
4) Finished cases only, no worklogs.
As per signature length - for those who want to list all your system specs - you can reduce the font size and lay it out horizontally - that will be a lot less annoying to folks.
Here is my workstation on video :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZMZZNx4tcU
What are you even talking about? I for one hate huge cases. All the excess space serves no purpose whatsoever, doesn't make the installation any easier and does NOT mean better cooling. On the other hand, when the case isn't the size of a walk-in wardrobe, it doesn't need twenty fans either.
And not to go 110% Offtopic, here's one just for luls.
http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/9449/matxn.jpg
Does that seem right to you? :)
EVD, that is the extremest waste of space I've ever seen in a computer case :D
I just started a worklog for my new system: pink project
I know shazza you don't want worklogs here but I don't post pics here until it isn't finished ;)
Now a finished one of mine:
http://www.abload.de/img/htpcii26i8xw.jpg
I would say this is one of the best systems I ever had...
- extreme low energy consumption
- working with the atom @ 2GHz is like working with a E4300 @ 2GHz :D
- nearly soudless (HDD is the only audible part)
- plays 1080p HD vidoes on my 42" Panasonic without any Problems
That looks very sexy Xien. I always love black/red combinations. It looks pretty tidy, but isn't it possible to shorten the wires for a little less clutter?
What case is that, Thermaltake, Silverstone?
I tested shorter cables but then the angle at the hole of the PSU was too hard for the sleeving...
And If I would have cut off just a little bit the "flow" of the sleeves wouldn't look good any more (now 24-Pin ATX and HDD-SATA looks like one cord)
http://www.abload.de/img/htpcii16nx2h.jpg
The best solution in that small space :D
The case is a Compucase 8K01BS ;)
awesome one Xien!
At Xien great work mate and is that avatar burning sleeving ? (LOL) ....
Thanks guys :D
Yep I took one of fhantastics pics and changed the colour ;)
Now also the avatar is pink :D
Thanks Xien, that looks like a pretty nice case. You sprayed it black and red didn't you? How many Hdd's does it hold?
the obsidian definitely has a way of swallowing up hardware
makes my ex58 extreme look like a micro almost
*taken from phone, so, yeah, quality sucks.
Nice setups everyone.
I will post some pictures tomorrow after my new monitor comes in:rocker:
Corsair 800D is very huge interior.
The HX and GTX are really in the tight position
@PurplePuppet: Nice Eyefinity setup dude! Love the first and the second pic  Must be great to play with this :banana::banana::banana: :D
gosh, PurplePuppet you made me feel poor with my 20" screen :/
@ PurplePuppet
what you LCD
my guess is either a dell 24 or 30"...can't tell for certain though
@chickenit: Very nice and sharp picture. Why not put an orange rear fan in, that would compliment the board and vga-cooler?
@CaloSIM: That's not a HTPC, that's a beast!
Look at his setup, he is either pushing all the hot air from the GPU onto the radiator of the H50, or he is pushing the hot air from the radiator to the GPU, either way the setup is all kinds of wrong. If you see no problems with that, i dont know what to say to you.
Here is my current setup... Need to finish up on the wire management, but been to lazy.

Actually, the air coming from the rad isn't that hot at all. I tested and actually got higher GPU temperatures with the fans off, than with them blowing air through the rad to the graphics card. I have both the chassis and the GPU fan set conservatively to be as quiet as possible when idle, but ramp to the max under stress, so my temps aren't that hot, atleast with the sidepanels off
Thank ! I ordered 97NT Zalman so I choose green ^^

Chickenit, don't use those fans. Get those Nanoxia or Gelid green fans. They look much better.
