Hi Gullo92, the settings are mostly the same as what I have PM'd you before. The changes are switching to the 333 strap and reducing some voltages as shown in my sig. Please remember as explained before that settings do not just port over for numerous reasons.
I think Frank has the same CPU as yourself - try a combination of Frank's CPU and board settings with my memory timings as you say we have the same RAM. If you have difficulties for whatever reasons you need to back things off until you have a stable system or you spend hours and hours trying to find the best settings for your hardware configuration. Sorry but it is not always easy - this thread has lots of helpful tips from others suggesting ways of finding the best settings but experience in O/C helps - maybe you have set your target too high first time out.
something i just noticed yesterday: particularly bad vCore droop on 1001 BIOS.
Before, I had only run Prime and IBT on 1001 with LLC enabled (500x9) - no vCore issue.
For 450x9 and 450x9.5 without LLC, i get early restarts under load on 1001, using 24hr-tested Prime CPU clocks/vCores (0403 / 0501).
Can Prime ok by raising vCore 3 steps on 1001, so reported droop then stops at 0403 level.
anyone else see this extra droop on 1001 (and maybe 1003) ?
0403 BIOS vcore: 1.256 (set/no LLC) >>>>> 1.23x (cpuz idle) >>>>> 1.208 (CPUz / small FFT load)
1001 BIOS vcore: 1.256 (set/no LLC) >>>>> 1.23x (cpuz idle) >>>>> 1.18x (CPUz / small FFT load)
0403 BIOS vcore: 1.33125 (set/no LLC) >>>>> 1.31x (cpuz idle) >>>>> 1.272 (CPUz / small FFT load)
1001 BIOS vcore: 1.33125 (set/no LLC) >>>>> 1.31x (cpuz idle) >>>>> 1.24x (CPUz / small FFT load)

anyone got some tips to get sub 10 scores on superpi 1m?? at the speed shown my best run was 10.610sec
sorry that my ram isnt showed on the pic but they ran at 1800mhz 7-7-7-14-1t
Also Rob2k would love to test your setup that you pm'd Gullo92:)
Need some advice regarding cooling HDDs in a Lian-Li rack. It is really necessary to cool two Seagate 7200.10 7200 RPM HDDs with an 80mm fan? I'm using this Lian-Li EX23NB HDD module here:
http://www.vadim.co.uk/images/ex23a02.jpg
While it seems a nice idea to blow air across the drives, these aren't Ultra 160 SCSI drives like I used to have, so I don't see the need. I've also saw a few Dell XPS machines with HDDs with no fan cooling them.
The only plus to keeping the fan is that cool air runs across the drive and into the CPU area behind it. I've already got a Panaflo medium-speed 86 CFM 120x120x38mm fan front and rear.
Thanks.
@ expat Griz can you list your bios settings like pll NB VTT cpu GTL REF NB GTL clock skew if your using it or just fill out the bios template im curious to see your settings
@ Ozzfest05 Here you go Dude!! These are for that run I posted.
CPU Clock Skew Auto
NB Clock Skew Normal
Ram skews All Auto (My Cell Shocks Like Auto, CSX Diablos are weird)
Twister Moderate
AI Booster 8
CPU V 1.76250 (Droops like crazy even with LLC enabled, Bios 1003)
LLC Enabled
PLL 1.72306
FSB V 1.61691 (can go lower but haven't had time to try)
NB V 1.80247
Ram 2.23981 (The timings for this require it)
GTL 0 -5
GTL 1 -40
GTL NB -75
NB DDR Vref +12.5
Ram VrefA +25
Ram VrefB +25
Hope this helps you out. If I forgot anything, let me know!!
It had big trouble capturing the screen above 14100+. With loosing timming I can cap the screen:

Well, maybe time to surrender...
471FSB stable seems easy but difficult for me
IBT v1.9 20 loops Stable, PI Stale, OCCT Stable
But BSOD in ORTHOS Large FFTs....no matter what settings used.
Just totally confused.
Is there a bios that lets you OC P4? I can only run P4 at default settings with 301, 401.
my p5e3 is dead. I just picked up one of these open box rampage extremes on newegg for 159.00
Im stoked! Subscribed.
Well did a quick run today one thing I noticed is my FSB I can do is around 615 with NB on air I want to rip apart stock cooling and do some sub zero benches but that will have to wait. CPU is on water

anyone running these sticks on this board? Was thinking of getting the RE since the price has really dropped here
Patriot PDC34G1600LLK DDR3-1600 4GB(2GB*2)KIT CL7-7-7
Wonder if they will be OK.
1. Watercooling : D-Tek Fuzion v2, ek nb-max and thermochill pa120.2
2. I have Corsair Dominators PC3-17066 2133 MHz 2x1gb set
3. Shall see if i still have it.. was kind of ocing for fun and it wasn't 100% stable..
but it wasnt complicated.. just 1.55v cpu and 1.55 for nb:D
Yep it's hard getting quads stable on this board. Very sensitive to gtl's - all cores have to run in perfect synch for stability. Till now only got perfect stability up to 450 FSB x8.5 with Q9550 CPU and G Skill 12800 Pi 2x2GB Ram - learning slowly but surely. Hope this attacment helps to start to understand cpu gtl and NB gtl settings.
Just got another 2x1Gb sticks of the same memory - it will be interesting to see how much I have to back off the FSB to get 4x1Gb stable. Will post when they arrive .............
