2008 Ford Ranger XLT. 3.0 litre Turbo Diesel, 380nm @ 1800rpm, has plenty of go for a vehicle of its weight and size.

Really? Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that our Rangers are actually Mazda BT-50's rebadged... Ford Australia and Mazda have a joint venture thing going over here like that. Dad used to own a Mazda E2000 van which was identical to the Ford variant, same engine, same chassis, etc... Only thing that was different was the interior and slightly different bumpers.Quote:

Well technically that ranger is an Aussie ranger, which is on the same running gear as a BT-50, which are RHD. Maybe instead of me calling it an Australian Ranger, I should say "the ranger we get in Australia" as it seems it is built in Thailand.

1st started out going to car shows and then got into drag racing which so far my best is 13.41 seconds @ 99.98mph in the 1/4 mile. not to bad for a 3998lbs car though which is still kind of stock lol.
