Same here !
I use my P6TD Deluxe with the 0006 bios since 8 months and no problem at all .

I flashed my P6TD Deluxe with the 0006 v1 bios and I can now overclock my i7 950 to 4.2 GHz, no more throttling problems. Nevertheless, I encounter a random stability : 4.2 Ghz passed on LinX 15 times (32 minutes) and on the Everest stability tool during 1 h. OCCT failed after a few minutes.
I switched off my PC then turned it on, launched LinX again and an error appears after 2 min 9 s !
Why this difference in stability ? 32 minutes LinX + 1 h Everest stability tool both seem reliable ? Are you in face of the same behaviour with LinX ? Or is the motherboard responsible for ? Because it will be impossible to determine a stable frequency if stability tools show such discrepancies !
I forgot to mention that I never applied high voltages (Vcpu=1.4 V max, Vqpi=1.325 V max, Vram= 1.62 V max) and the CPU temperature did not exceed 72°C, so that the components are not damaged.
@overclock: now that u mention this i was also experiencing some random lockups recently...
there where 2 things that i had to fix: first was, memory (sub)timings. second, bump vQPI from 1.3250 to 1.3500v...
those two steps seem to have brought stability back to my system. hope it helps!

Never mind, didn't work... got a random lockup again... run a memtest to be sure it wasn't a memory related issue but 2 passes showed no signs of errors.
anyone else experiencing this kind of issues (random instability with previous stable settings)?
Hello .
My P6TD deluxe is crossflashed with bios 0006 but now it is impossible to go back to original bios because the original bios is not identified as compatible bios !!!
:eek::eek::eek:
How can i do ?
thanking you in advance .
Just use the same dos tool that you used to do the cross flash ;)
Don't use the bios ezflash feature
Thank you very much .
I would love to see my vanilla p6t with a similar 0006 bios though I doubt it will happen so I guess it is time to fire up this RampageIII extreme.
No more P6T Deluxe 1v/v2 bios news ?! :(
Booooringgggggggggg :D
Yes it's a shame :(
It would be wonderfull to have someone to mod bios for this boards.
:D
is this thread dead? anyone know whats the latest stable bios?
For P6T Deluve v2 is the 1003.
;)
any new modded bios for tdp/tdc unlocking?
0006 works but has the infamous x20 multiplier bug :(

does bios setting "CPU Differential Amplitude" help to overclock?
is 800mv safe? how much motherboard sets in AUTO mode?
Bios 2209 says it take the Extreme 980X cpu.. Anyone confirm this with a Asus P6T Deluxe (V1) version??
is it safe to leave QPI voltage higher than CPU voltage?
Some new options are available under CPU configuration in the new bios (1108) mostly related to CPU power management (C states management, ACPI, etc). Using Ci7 920 and P6T Deluxe v2.
I've been away from the forums the last six months so I didn't see this post until now.
Anyway, I've got a 980X on a P6T Deluxe V2 that I'm running at 5GHz with the help of a Vapo LS.
But I've been really annoyed by the fact that it throttles as soon as I put some load on all cores!
I have downloaded your ThrottleStop program and will try it out when I get home tomorrow!
boy my P6T was a beast. took my 930to 5.3, but unfortunately I had to buy the dang X58D premium BIOS for slowmode :(
