If thats what happened after tweaking the DRAM settings then its likely a memory issue. I'm starting to become convinced that this UCCC based memory has an affect on overclocks for certain memory controllers and that the Opteron memory controllers are picky about settings and weak at high speeds. Your memory controller may be even weaker then some of the other 0610's and thats why its taking a lot of voltage to get it stable. When you overclock an Athlon 64 the memory controller runs the same speed as the processor so that can pose a problem when you are doing 1GHz+ overclocks on processor meant to run at 1.8GHz. Then again you may just have a weak core that doesn't overclock well.Quote:
