With that ocz ram try setting the ddr v to normal. With that setting I can get 480+ on the ram no problem by setting it up at all (+.1~.4) I can't even get the ram to reliably do more then 390 anymore.

intel's TAT or core temp is reporting 78c for core1 & 75c for core2
i wonder if heat could be an issue, luckily i have a infinity sitting right next to me :D
oh sweet, thanks for the heads up friend :toast:Quote:

Thanks for F8 beta Ken.
Naa the rev 2 was for that whole 2 versions of the F6 bios...
How the hell are you getting such a high temp. That's obviously the problem :eek:Quote:

Obviously the same as Ken posted, but an "official" link none the less.
I didn't think they released any F7 betas before? Ken posted a F8a!Quote:

and hamid you will wait for F8 just like the rest of us are, i been waiting since the day this baord was released for the D9 fix so back of the bus son and wait just like the rest of us.
they have been working on this issue for awhile now and you should be happy that they have it fixed. they are just tweaking the bios.
whats your memory? Patriot 800? SL EP??Quote:

Wait ... has the D9 memory fix happen yet? I still can't get my ram above 438 stable .... its patriot too ...
:slapass: I flashed mine and put in at least 5 hours of BF2142. Going to work on an hour's zzzz'z fun!! Dell 2007FPW comes in today, should be good times...especially since my sound card's not disappearing anymore.Quote:

So far it seem to be working with the F8a bios. I haven't lost it yet since I tried the bios.Quote:

and like i said look at those IRQ placements . look at how many resource hungry items are all on the same IRQ. does gigabyte really think, or any manufacturer really think that issues arent going to happen ? you cant shove that many key hardware(s) on 1 irq... thats too many resources to have on 1 IRQ.
