Sorry, but I don't see that being stable at any higher vcore on air.Quote:

either that or he got a bunk CCBBE, which i doubt.
@compgeek, that was a quick sell on ur processor. i can't believe no one wants mine :(
can't point you to a review, but I can tell you my A8N32-SLi does 334 with ease. Tops out at 349 exactly, 350 no setting change makes a difference.Quote:

Ok get a hold of this... My 0609FPBW does 2750Mhz on stock volts Prime, Rosetta, whatever I throw at it. That's 950Mhz OC on stock volts.
But, 2.8 needs 1.4v already and above it gets only worse. 2.9 needs around 1.525v and 3.0 hasnt been stable at any setting (tried upto 1.6v).
Does this thing scale horribly or what, temps can't be the problem as they never get above ~45C in a warm room with dual Rosetta running. Mem is on lowest divider on timings I know it to be stable at 270Mhz. LDT and chipset volts are up and multi's are set.
Whats going on?
so it scales normally...
2750 1.35
2850 1.45
2950 1.55
100mhz/.1v
just like most 165's
They always scale like that
.1v/100Mhz.. yours almost follows that, just needs a slight bump for the last 100Mhz
edit: he beat me
yea, most start to struggle a little bit at the top of the vcore line, so the jump from 1.45 to 1.55 might only get you like 80-90mhz. the stronger chips hold firm to 100mhz/.1v
hmm...Quote:

i just dont get it. ive been scouring the web for HZ settings that will make this thing faster. im hoping im not the only one with a dud CCBBE. if thats the case.....i will sell all and prepare for conroe, lol.
Great to know! my chip falls right in the norm. then my volts are just slightly I can reach 2750 @ 1.33v but 2.8 does not come @ 1.4v (as far as I can see) but I might of reached a themal barrier though... I think someone hit it right on the nail when they said 55c = instability.Quote:

i have since found the same thing with my 0608, craps out around 2.85 with 133 or lower divider but i can squeeze 3.0GHz with 150 divider.
Weird! Worth a try though.

egh?
its a 2/3 (133) divider, so at 300HTT it runs at 200mhz. yes? i'm not really following your calculations there....
HTT * Divider / 200
oh i see. i usually just multiply the HTT by the fractional divider. less steps.
Thanks! it gets the job done.Quote:
