Mayby this interest you, but don´t know how it goes:

Me. Works fine. system is stable. But i try to resolve some issues with my memory moduls (corsair XMS2 DHX cl4) Sometimes there is one error in memtest. Strange thing is that today they are tested again in other pc in job and 7 hours and ok, no errors at all. Yesterday they spitted out error. Damn strange. But memtest (using memtest+ 86x 2,01) should be turned on at least 12 hours. I would try rather 24 (same as the pc is in action 24 hours, isnt it truth). It fails in the test 6 sometimes. Like 5 passes, then fail and so. Those are2x2 GB, so i guess i ll send them to RMA.
But yeah RF 0410 works ok for me too. Just disable non-existent sensors and here we go.
Need some help guy's.
I have now at home X48 P5E DeLuxe DDR2 board,and yes there is a sticker with "P5E DeLuxe" on,so i take it off and it say's "RAMPAGE":yepp:.
So i think i can use that Rampage bios, butt to flash,is it ok to use alt-f2 method,or some other bios flash prog.
Allso can somebody guide me to some X48 bios screens and timmings,i try'd the search but no luck on finding it,only this one.
A still use a E6600(look at sig),stock X48 bios is not so good for me,it go's up and down, thats not that good i think.

The link below has all the information you need to do the conversion, just scroll down to the P5E section, also has some quad and dual core setups.

Wish you well

Hi,
Does anyone know what the max northbridge voltage i should run on my P5E, without additional cooling on the NB? The BIOS tells me 1.75v! But it seems a lot.
Also, is there a way to find out what the actual north bridge voltage is at? (not what it says it is in the bios?) I'm intrigued as if I run the following, it's slightly unstable under heavy load on 1.55v, but seemingly stable when I switch the NB voltage to Auto...
FSB 506Mhz
Multiplier 7.5
C2D 2.5Ghz@3.8Ghz (this has been proved at lower fsb to be completely stable - 447x8.5)
Cheers.
Can some help with measuting VTT voltage? I'm with P5E-Deluxe@Rampage Formula and i can see the voltage in Hardware Monitor, but with 1.4VTT set in BIOS, Hardware Monitor in BIOS and Everest in OS said, that VTT is 1.34 - 0.8 difference. So where can i measure the truth value, or i should trust the board?
Hi XtremeSystems Community :) I've got a few questions. Would you please answer'em?
1. My mobo is P5E modded to Rampage Formula 0601. For example on P5E max VCC was 1.7V with quite big vdrop. On Rampage BIOS I can shot 2.0V (even 2.4V). With Loadline Calibration enabled the voltage drop for ex. on Celly D347 @ 1.5V under full load is minimal and very impressive (1.49V). But how this mobo works with 2.0V mounted on BIOS? What is the vdroop?
2. Did anyone attempt to measure what is the max power that this mobo can serve for the CPU on Rampage BIOS?
3. I've found the theoritical power consumption equation for CPU: P = TPD * (VccU/Vcc)^2 * (FreqU/Freq) where:
VccU - voltage CPU user set
Vcc - Intel max VCC
FreqU - freq. user set
Freq - Intel std. clk.
I know how to measure the real power consumption but I need some theoretical computation to estimate it. What is wrong with formula above? On Celly Cedar Mill @ 8GHz and 2.0V the max power is 427W! Sic!
Thank you for any help.
PS: sorry for bad english :)
Regards,
Podstavsky.
Are there any ports on the P5E to plug in a 2-pin temperature sensor? Thanks.
Nope, no temp probe connections.....
wow.. switching to RF bios really made my day..
couldnt OC anything with 8gb /w p5e bios.. now OC even lower voltage..
less vdroop..
my NB/SB temps seems off very much..
is there any fix for that?
or
any software i can use to check real temp?
New bios out,

Fixed use 2 pieces of ATI4870X2 VGA Card can't display from Primary slot display monitor
Only changelog I found.
Any idea whats going on when my system turns off for 10-15min after changing any important CPU clocking value, which is usually followed by hard restart (system turns off for 1-2sec and start again). Only solution is to unplug power cable and wait, tried to reset cmos, remove all cards/cables but basic ones.
Have quite typical setup P5E with latest bios 1102 (but had problem even with previous release, flashed to try if new version helps or not). CPU is Intel Q9300 clocked to 3.4GHz, but same behaviour is with default clock. 4GB RAM and GF260GTX (tried Radeon 4870 too).
Still my system turns off after cold restart and I'm not able to start it for 10+ min. It just doesnt react to power button, only thing is that fans move a tiny bit after pressing it.
I changed even my PSU, from 600W BeQuiet to 1200W Odin - no change.
I gave the new 1102 bios a shot and it seems to be quite good.
I have achieved my highest clocks ever. As well as my highest Bench scores.
Here is my latest pi run last night.

It's all good here.
Wikus list all your bios settings including all voltages aswell as memtimings.
Post shots of your bios screens if you can.

Its easy, problem is even with default setting and everything on auto :)
Ill try new bios...

Been trying to match the speeds from some of your earlier posts and you come up with this latest post, looks like 1102 will be on my board this weekend.

BIOS RF0410, best FSB 533, Clock 4740 +/-
Damn that ram clocks, I get over 1250 +\- and windows boots with 2d drivers only.
NICE RUN !! Aleslammer.... It is great to see you getting so much out of your baord. That is a great looking Everest you posted also!
Keep it up cuz there may just be a little more in there for you!!
Thanks for posting that up.

I had a major oopsie today. Was screwing around in the case today and accidentally grounded a 12v fan wire to the case (pinched it with a screw). There was a loud bang and plastic shrapnel showered my floor, but the P5E took it like a champ. I lost the power in the top fan connector, but everything else is still working. +1 for Asus, and -1 for me.
Hey Weld, gonna put the P5E back in my rig, got 2 4850x2's coming. Currently have the board flashed with Rampage bios, think its 30-somthing. Is there a better bios to use with a Q6600+8gb?? Just tryin to get my hardware in order before the rebuild.....
I have a question - since what voltage X48 starts to degradate? I have P5E X48 and since i like the board and i don't want to change it, but it need insane voltages for more than 450 (for 465 it's 1.65 vNB nesecarry). I'm planning to put it underwater, but ir's ~1.7 vNB healty for 24/7?
Why can't I OC my E8500 (E0!) on my P5E? Now I'm using it on 4,2Ghz with 1,328V (Cpuz 1.48). Orthos runs 3+ hours with this voltage, but became unstable on less. About 1,38V is necessary for 450FSB...which would burn the CPU (83+°C!).
What am I do wrong? Please upload a perfect bios setting for BIOS 0903.
My 2GB ST T800 works till 950Mhz, it ran 900@450FSB with my e6750 on this mobo
