yeah they are having a great deal! i got in on it but i'm very disappointed with its performance...

i have some g.skill 512x2 LA coming in soon so I'll see how these compare to the mushkin and keep the better of the two :)

i have corsair twin1024-3200c2pt and their rev 4.1 they cannot run 2-2-2-5 timings @ 400 mhz and ive got it up to only 255fsb @ 3-4-4-8
these cannot do 300mhz

- They could m8. I have no link of 300 mhz.

Are you sure they are 4.1 and not 5.1? Because those sound like Mosel Vitelic ICs.

my mistake its 4.2
but still shouldnt it be able to do 2-2-2-5 with any errors?
i got an error within 17 minutes

XMS-PC3200C2 Rev4.2 (2-3-3-6-1T) --chip--> Samsung TCCD & TCC5

All TCCDs support 2-2-2-5 @ 200 Mhz, then you have TCC5 and you must be happy with 2-3-3-6 :D.

my cousin has twinx-3200c2pt
and his are revision 5.1
using that mosel chips
are those any good????
can they run 2-2-2-5 and overclock well?

For sure they aren't TCCC, but TCC5.

CAS 2 IS NOT MAPPED on TCCC.

Actually they aren't well-known to overclock high, anyway, just ask him to try and tell us!!! :D

Didn't even know they switched to BP...

Screw the lame Mushkin deal, just buy the PQI guys, it's the best deal ($225): http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...141-138&depa=0 Mine each did ~280fsb individually. TCCD is TCCD and they use the best BP PCB. :cool:

For the record, I can't even recall 1GB of anything that has hit 300+ fsb with 2.5-3-3-X timings, 1T CPC and normal volts.

it's not a lame deal. my sticks do 290 fsb with 2.5-4-3-X timings 1T CPC individually...

together, they will not do above 275ish... pretty sure i'm board limited.

Hmmm...anybody got any ideas for a DDR2 ram list with specs and stuff???

Cause if anyone wants to start one, I'm sure Fugger, FCG, Stilt and some others would probably have expertise in it too. Its really hard to know right now which DDR2 is good and which isnt, and the automatic answer seems to be the 1GB of EB 4200 Plat which is creme de la creme but not everyone can afford the high price.

So if anyone has any ideas, sorry if this is the wrong place for this post, thought ppl here could apply their skill on finding out ddr2 info too. ;)

I am soo tired of this really lame transcend PC3200.
So I was on the look out for new 1GB RAM for my A64 3200+.
Ny aim is to get RAM that will do 270-280Mhz @ 2.5,4,X at 1T
My budget is under $200.

So far I have come across GeiL Ultra series PC4000 ( GL1GB4000DC ).
Is this confirmed same as old Ultra-x with TCCD?
Any other which will suit my aim and under $200?

They are in the list. They should be Samsung TCC5 (perhaps some have TCCD too). Just try 2-2-2-5 @ 200 Mhz.

ok i have above ram but i cannot do anything above 200 fsb@2-2-2-5 1T no matter what volts i throw at it

best i can do is 250x10 ram is 5:6 @208fsb timings are 2.5-3-3-7 1T again no matter what juice i throw at it

also these seem to run a bit hot they idle @ 42 c with an open well ventilated case and 55-57 c after 3 hrs of gaming

i thought these were high 1:1 action sticks i guess not ?

yes just ran memtest for 6 hrs at 2.5-3-3-7 250 ram @208 2.85 vdimm , no errors and ran them at 2-2-2-5 1T @200 fsb 2.8vdimm no errors either

PSU is a OCZ Powerstream 520 w
