Come dont hold back on us now!! Do tell!!!!
I received the new res's today, so now I have 3 EK 400's! IMO it looks much better.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC04096.jpg
I also received more fittings and something special in the middle res, look closely.....
I did a close check and I have 22 fittings in the pedestal and additional 18 in the main case for a total of 40! However, no 90's!
Much more tomorrow, especially if my shipment arrives from Shoggy!
Cheers
I am in the process of putting everything together and I would like some opinions regarding the fitting colors.
Red....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC04104.jpg
Black compressions, which I don't care for...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC04106.jpg
True silver.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC04110.jpg
Black barbs....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC04112.jpg
The lineup....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC04115.jpg
The tubing will be clear and I will be using red dye. LMK what you think....
I'd go for silver and/or red ones.
I really like your case selection for the build with so much space and room for expansion, which leads to my next question....
Other than for external heat / cooling purposes, was the add-on box really required or am I mixing 2 different builds together? It seemed like with such a big case it could all fit inside the case? Hence the reason for such a large case.
Also, I was curious how much you thought that beast was going to weigh once you get it completed? Hurts my back looking at it!!!!!!!
I guess it's true everything is bigger in Texas.
Glad to see the progress is moving pretty quick on this build
For this setup I would do black barbs so it all matched. On a side note, if all three reservoirs are 400ml, why does one look shorter than the other two?
Thank you!
The pedestal was not necessary, but this is XTreme. You could easily build the same system without the pedestal. With regard to weight; I am guessing somewhere between 70-80 lbs with a full compliment of H20.
I will make the final decision on the fittings at the last minute, but thanks for your input.
One res is mounted to the MB tray and the other two are somewhat suspended.
I finished everything in the basement and bolted everything together....it is big! I placed most of the cables and tubing to get an idea of what I need to do next, a lot...........

The back shot in an artsy way.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04120.jpg
I decided to switch out the CL PCI white plates for black too....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04121.jpg
Cable management and tube routing will be important to say the least...

The naked frontal.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04124.jpg
Once again, cable management and tube routing will be important to get a clean look, however it's really nice to have two cases in one!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04125.jpg
Not to mention, having access to the basement....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04126.jpg
As I have stated throughout this thread, this is a dream case! Every time I think I will have a problem, the case saves my butt. I have never had the luxury of such optionality, thanks CaseLabs!
Cheers
Man i would love to have one of their cases. One day...............
I really hope Case Labs do a good job w/ their single-width system. I already have an eleventy billion cases around here unused but I'd definitely be in the lineup for one. And man do they ever need a website up already.
is there nothing u can do to hide that cable that is next to the top of the first PCIE?
Maybe try routing it under the GPUs (near the backplate) or maybe even under the mobo?
Just get one!
Based upon my case, anything CL makes will be outstanding.
I re-routed it.
I did a little tube routing experimentation. I used white tubing for the CPU and ram block so it would be easier to see. I still have not decided upon the fittings but I needed to get an idea of what needs to be done. Obviously, this will take some work!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04130.jpg
It is still a little sloppy, but I will get there.
Thanks for looking in!
This is really turning into one beast of a build. I like the artsy shot BTW. Very stylish.
anyone else expecting a terminator to rise out of that tile floor in the artsy shot?
I started on the 3rd loop with the A5's and I had a small problem. Here is a pic of the two types of compression fittings I have.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04135.jpg
The one pictured first will not work......
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04136.jpg
For obvious reasons....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04139.jpg
Yes, those little SS hex-heads get in the way, so I will go with the old tried and true method with a barb in black.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04141.jpg
or maybe a true silver since all of this will be hidden.....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04143.jpg
The block does not seat as well as I would like, so using the barbs will allow me to put more pressure on the block.
Cheers
I found the block very floppy with the the nylon screws so I replaced them with metal ones and insulators. Im not sure it made any difference to temps but it made me feel better about the pressure the tubing was putting on the mount. The PA2 case mounting screws for the bracket were a perfect fit if your wondering what size you need.

The first two loops are basically complete and I went with all compression fittings. I still have to add the flow meters, in line temp sensors and the filters. I may still change a few things, but I have to study it a while. Obviously there is a lot to do with the wires!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04150.jpg
This should look crazy with red, white and black dye......
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04151.jpg
The back side is going to need a lot of work too!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04147.jpg
Fortunately, the case has a few hidden features that will allow for great cable management. I can tell you that it is very heavy so I decided to put it on my lift that I use for my tanks.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04149.jpg
It's still messy but that will soon change.
Cheers
I started to tidy up the backside of the case a bit. This case is outstanding when it comes to cable management.

I have to get the duck out of the room!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...d/DSC04162.jpg
nice.... this build is becoming a beast!
I does weigh a lot! I forgot to post this pic which shows you how much thought went into this case. These are great for cable management.

wow.... i didnt even realise those! awesome....
Keep us on our feet seeker :D
Thanks my friend! If I could only take pictures like you do!!
The last shipment arrived this evening...thanks to Shoggy and thanks for the pen!

I will be mounting these on a piece of acrylic on the PSU side of the case. Most likely adjacent to the res acrylic mount up top. Yes, I know more overkill, however these also function as a quick disconnect, albeit a German quick disconnect! Unfortunately, I am short six fittings! Another order which has already been placed.
Cheers :drink:
i wish i had your bank account :P
hehe...
mind showing how thsoe filters work exactly? i figured you shut off the valves, and then remove the gasket, and some liquid falls out and then you have a filter? which can be removed and cleaned? something like that?
with so many orders, your shipping bills must have started to creep up on your actual hardware list :P
