I ordered mine :) but seems you cannot do a push setup from bellow unless you do a push/pull config :/ the current push config allows more dust comes into the case unless i'm wrong...

jalyst: top is part of pump casing with specific shape cut out for pump's impeller. As stock one for DDC pumps is rather poorly designed (sharp 90deg angle in inlet reducing performance, instead of feeding water straight from top to center of impeller like custom tops do), using 3rd party tops usually noticeably increases pump performance, gives option to use any fittings of choice as have G1/4 threads, lessens noise and simply looks better :). There are also several reservoirs with integrated pump tops (or in Edge kit case - radiators with integrated tops) to which you can mount rest parts of pump such as casing with engine & impeller, eg. such as by XSPC.
D5 stock top is better internal shape wise, so performance gains are minimal. You still get G1/4 threading & looks though.
Interesting, was not aware of this, may be a worthwhile augmentation of my 220 Edge Kit!?

Hmm, augmentation in what meaning? (my english is not too good). As something to buy separately? No need to. As i've said, edge kit radiators have similar pumptop as one i linked to, just that integrated into radiator (with rest of pump included aswell of course). I brought up that top that caught my eye among store new additions just because i couldn't quickly find separate topic for MCP35x pumps.

Hi, I´m new to the forum and to Watercooling, so in first place I want to say hi to all you guys!
I´m just bought a H2O Edge 220 to cooling my i7 930 (@4ghz) on a MSI Big Bang Xpower. Before a get my watercooling set, I bought a CM 690 II Advanced, following the advice of the Swiftech´s homepage for an internal set up. For my surprise and to advice other users this case only support this kit on the bottom. As I have 5 HDD I can´t remove the (removible) bottom part of the HDD´s slots. If I try to install the kit on top of the case it touch the chipset heatsink of the Xpower. I know thinking on buying another new case, I have the option of a CM HAF X or a HAF 932, but i´m on doubt of wich would be enough to install my kit on top. If someone could give me some advice I will be grateful!

Or buy a optical bay to hdd converter to make room.

Thank you MagisD! I have it install on back, but the desk on the case goes is not so deep, so the case is "out" from the desk.... so I always imagine my new set with the watercooling inside. I think to put the HDD on the 5 1/4 bays is an option, not my prefer one, but an aoption. Thank you! Any other advice?

I'm guessing that - to replace - not worth it. But it's worth to consider them for next builds :).

MagisD is talking about a module like this.
There are others, but this one is fairly common. Some can squeeze up to five HDD's in a single bay. The fan in front will keep them plenty cool. The biggest problem is with cable managment, and its really not an issue at all. Just one of them migth solve your issue.
I understand. Thank you for your comments! Today I clear the bottom of my CM 690 II and tried to install the radiator there: NADA! It could be istalled there but applying pressure (I don´t think my PSU is to big). Tomorrow I will buy a HAF 932 to install the kit on top. I really like the HAF X but I´m not sure if it could be installed on top. What do you think?Quote:

OK. I can confirm that the HAF X supports the Edge Kit inside on top of the case (I´ll put some pictures later). You have planty of space there, but you can´t install the kit other than there or at the back of the case with the incuded radbox. A Quiestion: I have a doubt about the inlet/outlet of the Apogee XLT included, are those the same or have an order; and what is the best order to put my tubes (out of the pump to center "inlet? barb" Please give me some orientation.Quote:
