sub 7s super-pi 1M is awsome :D, my expectations were low on Phenom II at first :)
Sweet clock !!! hehehe :cheer::cheer::cheer:
Let to see real war benching again :D
Thanks Sampsa for sharing info and SF3D for greats picture
Cheers. :)
Where are you people coming by sub 7s? I'm guessing it did 16 to 18s
wow , nice job !!! that copper heat sink is insane man. uhhm you guys are nuts :D
So how many CPUs can do this under the same conditions? sorry to ask but with the latest cherry picking claims at hardware manufacturers i have to wonder.
It is great to see AMD doing great clock and cold wise :)
So does this mean a proper Quantum Force 790FX board is on the cards? :D
Me think 14sec@6Ghz maybe 13sec.... :)
Edit : i saw 18.7sec @ 3.8Ghz with 1800Mhz HTT so 11.4sec is possible@6.2Ghz w/1.8Ghz HT and flat 11sec @6.2Ghz w/2.4Ghz HT.
It's just a supposition from some NDA Violation :D
18.7@3.8ghz there :

Good question. Half of the CPU's were retail and half ES. All processors can do almost similar speeds, but of course these are individuals like all other cpu's.
Our first LN2 chip did 6.045GHz and second 6.28GHz (4 cores). Retail cpu's might scale even better in the future, cause they need a bit less voltage.
I got my suitcase back and some officers have opened all boxes etc. There was maybe 15 bended pins, but I managed to get it in to the socket.
Some aircooled screenshots are coming. First I have to check what I can show
Well done guys, and yes, it's so good to see AMD able to clock very well.
Glad to hear you got your suite case back SF3D
At the boston event last night, I was able to get a semi stable 3.9Ghz on stock air cooler, 3.7Ghz 3d stable. On single stage Mach II 4.8Ghz 3d stable, 4.9 would usually bluie screen. Both the air and phase results were done with on 1.45v  AMD overdrive utility is sleek, easy to use, and handy... all overclocking was done via Overdrive (bios was password protected)! Of course, no math benches, only had a few games to test stability (crysis, et quake wars and cod4).
Cant wait for January as I won a PII 940 BE!! :D
maccinem ? :o
Eminem is for macci what the I7 is for Phenom, so similar !!! :D
ahh...this looks promising for sure.....thx for posting guys :toast:
Yeah, they bear a strong resemblance I gotta say :D
Maccinem ? ROFL !
SF3D, thank god everything worked out well for you ;) Patiently awaiting for your results
Hey, how come these guys posting pictures of Phenom II @ SPi 1M ? Isn't it against NDA ?
