E3110 - Batch# Q745A784
Using stock HSF
Haven't stressed it yet with Orthos, still trying to tweak first...but load temps have been around 47C from what I've seen.
seems like i just needed to up vcore a bit more, screenshot was when i first started running ORTHOS, it's been going for ~1 hour now.

As requested.. 6 hours OCCT.
Look at the voltage. Pretty good chip, need to get some 1066 ram to test further..

Guess I will be selling my X3350 next week :D
Hehe, ye I believe that one :P
Nope, mobo is unmodified. Tried pencil mod, but the old one didn't work and I don't have conductive ink for the new one here.
I think you should sell that to meeee. :D
Na, I think I'll keep that one :D
Btw. Mykou.. what just jumps at me: you needed 4.7 ghz for <10 sec spi?
I played around a bit just before and I was below 10 secs at around 4.6 ghz.
Given the fact that my mem timings were a bit looser - like I said, it craps out >1020 mhz :(
yes sub 10 at 4.68 ghz ( see SS in my sig ) with G skill PC 6400 HZ with 5:6 ratio ( 1042 ) ; I now running cellshock 8500 but not such great difference , just more cumfortable .
don't forget it was under vista and not much tweaks.
didn't try under xp ( I'm too lazy to reinstall Oses :p: )
I don't personnaly think there's so much loss with relaxed timings and lower mem unless you wanna bench under everest or sandra scisoft for daily apps and games ( few fps maybe )
DDR3 seems interresting to me for less vdimm needed and good perf though .
Yes, I'm under Vista64 too, so I was kinda curious what took you ~100 mhz more for sub 10. Gonna buy some crucials or reaperx I guess.
Just ordered E3110 from Newegg and it is being drop shipped from intel, I have never seen this before from intel:eek:
Thanks for the pics Cy4n1d3!
So how do we feel about running 1.3v 24/7 with this chip? My load temps never get above 56c and thatsd after 30+ min of P95.
Everything is stable right now and my system is screaming fast but of course I dont want to kill the chip, the box says 1.25v max but I wouldnt think .5 volts over max would kill it, whats the train of thought on this?
hey, what bios are you guys running with a P5B/P5B-deluxe board? I'm using the latest beta (1226) and i can't seem to change the vcore at all. hit F10 to save and exit in the bios and it resets and just sits there.. Need a full bios clear to get the board working again! help!
You are fine with 1.3vcore 24/7. That is an excellent chip you have. There are only 2-3 batches (either E3110 or E8400) that run that fast with that low of vcore. That chip is a keeper. Since Tankguys still has that batch available I am considering buying one to see if I get as lucky as you did. My E8400 runs 4.3GHz with 1.344vcore 24/7. It may go even lower but I haven't had time to play around much lately.
I'd like to hear some more results on this chip. I'm going to be putting together the following setup in the next few weeks:
Xeon E3110 - cooled with Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme lapped
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L - NB cooled with Thermalright HR-05/IFX
2x1GB G.Skill DDR2-1000 - to avoid ram issues up to 500MHz
Stuck together in an Antec 900 with as many high performance Panaflos as I can get in there
I'd like to know what my odds are for 4.5, considering that the culprit on the DS3L usually seems to be the red-hot northbridge, and I'll be taking care of that issue.

Sure. Might try tomorrow. ^^
