E6600 comming from newegg this thursday. Will post as soon as it arrives.
I recieved 2 chips from newegg in the past two weeks. So far I have been able to play with one. I have been able to get it stable @3429 with 1.4 volts. The batch is in my sig. My other chip is currently running at stock speeds until I can get another cooler.
My second rig is used for solidworks.

New E6600 batches, post your Overclock
Received a 711A today, testing on stock air cooling for now. Testing it now.

I put it in my Microfly on an Abit F=190HD and thought it was the poorest clocker I ever had. Was about to ebay it but tore apart another rig with a DS3 mb. It takes more juice then I would like but it runs very cool with just a TT BT. SPi is just to show stability. Please no grumbling.:nono: We all would like 3600@1.4v but it aint going to happen.:(

Wow...I bought a L640F on ebay and hope it clocks like that.
If the tracking thing is on time I know 2 people getting a E6600 from the egg on Thursday. I just checked my tracking and it said Thursday. I hope they're good batches. This makes my second E6600, I'll be able to compare it with a L632B444 That's if I don't get the same batch which I probably won't. I was so satisfied with the first one, after a mobo change, I went ahead and ordered another one. (I almost ordered another E6420, but figured I'd be pushin' my luck. :D)
I've got my L649G979 batch E6600 from ZZF up and running. Been testing it out for the last little bit and having to learn all the different settings on my DFI P965-S Dark. I've got most settings set to Auto at the moment and Orthos has been running for 35 mins so far at 3.2Ghz with stock voltage. Voltage is set to auto and it's reporting as 1.29-1.3V in the BIOS and Smart Guardian. I'm pretty sure the voltages are fairly tight on the P965-S so default vCore may be 1.3v on this one. I dunno though, I've been out of the loop of things for a while and been on a laptop so this is my first desktop in almost a year lol.

Low volts 3.0@2.568v prime for 9.5 hours. One core failed at 9.5 hours but it is still good. I never worry about a failure after 4 or 5 hours.

me and 3 friends got l6xxf from the egg in the last three weeks, but all of us are from new jersey and they came from the south river warehouse all go 3.6-7 on air.the forth got a l7o7a 3.3 on air
Man..so hard to tell if I should go with e6600 or e6420...OCing seems more unpredictable these days
Cowie...what vcores are l6xxf and l707a using
I should have my OC results by this weekend, been soo busy haven't had a chance to fool with it.
got my E6600 L646G494 400x9 3.6GHz 1.5v Bios 1.448v Cpu-Z Pencil Mod.
about 60-63c orthos with a Zalman 9500 waiting for my water kit to come tomorrow and see if i can get the volts and temps down.
it can do 350x9 with about 1.35v i cant believe it would need that big of a jump just to be stable at 400x9.
oh yeah its orthos stable for 12+ hours i was just trying to tweak the memory timings before.

Well guys.... my E6600 (see sig) is currently stuck at 3.3ghz @ 1.45v. Max load with my enzotech ultra-X is 51'c using Orthos. Any CPU speeds faster have resulted in a failure in Orthos.
How high can I ramp up my V-Core on the CPU with this good cooler before I have to start worrying about damaging my CPU? I've been an AMD guy for the past 5 years and am just learning how to OC intel chips.
Thx.
