yeah, I have heard of that rule too, I just wanted to see how low i could get these sticks, while still being 24/7 stable. Well, 24/7stable is a little lie, my current rig fails orthos after approx. 2 hours.
I plan on setting tRAS up to 8 again today, and i may try to get a little more freqency on these.
Hopefully i can get my rig to be more orthos stable, so I can overclock it further...
I unsuccessfully tried taking the heatspreaders off of mine. :(
Chances are they were D9's..... I hate you supertalent for gluing the heatspreaders on you bastards!
Oh yeah... I also emailed SuperTalent to find out what IC's were used. They replied saying they were not authorized to disclose that information.:down:

My RAM can do that too, and that's known to have D9GMH on it, so Id guess they're for you as well. Though I've no clue how other IC's like Elpida, ProMOS etc are performing... at all.Quote:

Even more couriously (SP??) going down to 2.10 made them stable for 450 mhz @ 4-4-4-8.
sidenote : My p5b-deluxe tended to drop the pcie speed to x1 instead of x16 when raising the NB voltage to 1.55V.
=> 450mhz with 4-4-4-8 and NB voltage on auto made 1.55V => PCIE x1
=> 450mhz with 4-4-4-12 and NB voltage on auto made 1.45V => PCIE x16
=> 450mhz with 4-4-4-8 and NB manually set to 1.45V => PCIE x16 AND Stable.
At the moment I´ve 4 sticks in my sys and they all are week 25/07
