4 - my water block for the CPU is prooving to be restrictive and not efficiently cooling the 980x properly. water block is a Koolance CPU-360.
5 - again, back to the memory, being it's not designed to be in a hex channel setup it's too much of a load to the memory controller on the 980x for anything over 1800mhz (doubtful but testing at low CPU clocking with high mem clocking at 1900, CPU becomes unstable even at stock clocking. i'll take out 3 sticks tomorrow and see if tbey'll push further, if they do then this and issue 1 are the sources.)
