When it's excessive gambling is a very destructive problem. Ranks up there with alcoholism and drug addiction.

Guilty as charged :p:
Most embarrassing thing you've ever done? And I need a story to go with it :p:
Eller
My sisters wedding. I fainted during the 1 1/2 hour long service oh did i mention the groomsmen/bridesmaides had to stand. Was 110+ F no air movement at all, no AC in the church and I didn't eat anything before the service. Also note that I was standing up with a girl that also fainted too. Aside from that nothing that I can legally talk about.
Most emotional moment? Aside for a child being born/finding out your having a kid, a wedding/wedding proposal and death?
The past 10 months or so have been pretty rough emotionally but I guess an event that stands out is when I found out my rc surgery had failed.
What are you next crunching upgrade plans?
Getting an external water cooling setup and chucking both my Q6600's on it. Car radiator mounted to the wall outside with a shroud to protect from sunlight, tubing up into the eves and then down through the ceiling into my room. Means I can actually run both quads 24/7 at 3.6+ GHz even during summer. The E7200 would then get moved into my desktop and hopefully get a decent (4.0+ GHz) clock on it.
How come, when technology is supposed to bring smaller and more efficient computers, things are just getting bigger? Graphics cards 3 years ago were maybe 7-8" long, but now 10.5" cards are just about standard, and some cards are even becoming triple slot (Palit/Gainward HD4870 X2). Processors are getting bigger (i7), cases are getting bigger (Full-tower ATX seems to just about be the standard now). Power-per-watt might be improving, but over-all power consumption is still going through the roof.
Eller
Because we can build it bigger and better. People don't care if their PC draws 10W more, so long as it performs. If you go mainstream, you will however see things getting faster and shrinking. That E7200 of yours has a tiny 107mm^2 die and more performance than any Pentium D. As for chassis and the like, all you're seeing is enthusiasts around here wanting more room. Go to an average person's home and odds are any desktops they have are mATX, and quite compact by our standards.
What will Asus say about my EeePC RMA?
They will say your warranty is void... so no RMA for you.
What music are you listening to now?
So, after landing my new job as a Wal-Mart greeter, a good find for many recently unemployed, I lasted less than a day......
About two hours into my first day on the job a very loud, unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into the store with her two kids, yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance. As I had been instructed, I said pleasantly, 'Good morning and welcome to Wal-Mart. Nice children you have there. Are they twins?'
The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, 'Hell no, they ain't twins. The oldest one's 9, and the other one's 7. Why the hell would you think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?'
So I replied, 'I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am, I just couldn't believe you got laid twice. Have a good day, and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.'
My supervisor said I probably wasn't cut out for this line of work.
Please tell me that you did that, make my day. Please please please please please please.
And yes, we should start one.

3 cores or 2 faster cores? (assuming total computing power is the same)
If the overall power is the same, I'd go for two.
Sweet Baby Ray's or Cattlemen's? (If you don't know what these are, Google it. No. Srsly. It's that important [in the Midwest]).
I have no idea so I'm going to go for Sweet Baby Ray's because it contains an adjective (sweet) that shows how awesome it is.
How many beers a night is a problem? :p:
Sweet Baby Ray's it has the taste of real barbecue sauce should have.
I would think that any more then 4 a night for a period of time but that is also not having it with any meals and also over what period of time. Are you drinking alone or socially.
Do you think we (American's) will ever have no debt for the country? http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/
I've never been one for night-before cramming, and I usually find a decent night's sleep is better.
For my next rig, should I go all out with i7 (i920, EX58-DS4, 6 Gb RAM, HD4850 X2 or something similar), or else go for an E8x00 (and recycle lots of parts from my current main rig) and used the saved money for a bare-bones i7 cruncher?
Eller
All out with i7, but get UD5 instead of UD4.
Do you drink alcoholic drinks?
You're funny :D It's almost impossible for me to budget but I do make ends meet and my bills get paid. That is a major accomplishment living on SSI and raising a child alone.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Something in the computer field, a soldier or a cop. Right now I'm working on a Bachelor of IT and aiming to get into data forensics, possibly with the Feds.
What got you into computers in the first place?
Games of course, I started with playing Quake 2 and look where I am now, doing HW reviews...
How much of your work (in %) are repetitive tasks?
