Am i right to say that a thermochill 120.3 rad won't fit beneath there in the Lian Li V1200Plus?
I think you're right :D It's so strange, I have an akasa eclipse atm, but now I want a shiny white lili v1000 too man... Those cases are really beautiful.
I'll say, just mail the guy :) www.murderbox.com ;)
I'm planning to change my fluid soon with some medical grade sterilized distilled water. :D
That's an impressive first build! I like the way you installed your Swiftech reservoir. Did you purchase some Plexiglas and cut it to fit?
Ok, I was going to ask the above question until I noticed that you cut the Swiftech mount from 1/4" Plexiglas using a CO2 Laser. I'll have to analyze my options to see if I can come up with a solution.
I thought it was bad to have the output of the pump sticking up.
someone has to be alert on these murderboxes ;)
THe Only pump that has a MFR warning against that orientation that I am aware of is Iwaki...but I mounted my RD30 in that postion and it was fine. I have mounted a number of D-5 that way without ill effect.
You are killing me man....
Now Your Talkin - That Looks Sweet - Tri Sli
Looks awesome :D
Pls hurry and post some pics of the whole system !!
what gfx card are those ???
Which gfx's are those? ultra's or gtx? OMG THAT LOOKS NICE
HAWT! You and your 780i
HOLY :banana::banana::banana::banana:ING CHRIST! Pure pron...
First, I'll offer something relevant: That looks like hot sex. Three waterblocks together is difficult to push water through at a reasonable flowrate, never mind Danger Den blocks.
Something Irrelevant: Can you benchmark one card, then two, then three? I think two is a waste of money, but three is the "I have too much money to know what to do with" level. Just wondering :D
After months of looking at this thread and all the great builds, I'm finally in a position to post my own rig. It's taken 3 months to complete, and I would not have considered trying to do so without the great inspiration of this forum.

Black interiors rule!
wow, looks amazing, what are those "coils" round the tubes? did you do them all individually?
Thanks.
They're Primochill coils in gloss red. Each tube has a single continuous coil and then I spaced them like that. I initially had them spaced very close together:
http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/4...seside1gw1.jpg
but it was too much red. In order to show more of the black tubing (or at least give the impression of more black), I respaced them.
It took quite some time to do and I don't want to see another coil for a long time :p:
@aoe...that is a nice rig! It is very clean.
@DarthBeavis...u r my hero bro! Looking forward to your benchmarks with the Tri-SLI.
Gotta love the look of 3*Black PCB's on a black PCB mobo with copper and black blocks ;) I don't like the layout of the mobo, but you can't argue with the fact that you've made it look alot better :p
My first watercooling:

Love the aquacomputer pump! What about the GPU?
very nice, deepsilver!
Thank's.
@ joecop120: GPU is onboard, but my server were still managed by lan. :)
BTW: the pump is an AquaStream XT Ultra xD
what is that pump like deepsilver? i've been stuck between that and a dcc1
awesome rig aoe....
that tubing looks huge....
only thing i don't like is that petra's aplique... lol but thats just me :) nice work
@aoe Man I like that build. It makes the case look small :p:
The doubled up coils make for a better look...for some reason it makes the tube look huge.

Part way through bleeding my loop lol.
It is in Hellmouth with QX9650 under modded phase change. The 780i and tri SLI are temp until I get dual procs for my Skulltrail mobo and a 4th 8800 GTX . . .and until DD (hopefully they will let me help) works out a way to cool all 4 GPUS on the Skulltrail . . .card spacing is tight . . .also gonna use my phase unit to waterchill the Skulltrail's two CPUS.
My new DayWalker build will have dual 780i rigs in one case and either SLI or TRI SLi depending on what GPUS come my way ;)
I'd be interested in hearing your ideas on cooling quad SLi, I might have some input as well...
You´re gonna need a very big case for that stuff^^
The 4 GTX´s alone need 2 Loops.
Anyway.. What are you planing to do with this System?
4 GTX´s and 2 QX9650 what the hell ;) I mean i like "extreme stuff" but no game even supports QuadSLI and when the new GF9Series arrive in March/April, 2 of them will outperform 4x8800GTX QuadSLI, already because no Game/Benchmark will fully support QuadSLI..
But i can´t wait to see your finished result :) Did you pay for everything yourself or do you have a sponsor too?
This thread is driving me insane, I can't wait until I get my rig liquid cooled.
I mirror both those comments! I've got mine all planned but the case i want isn't in stock at kustompcs.co.uk untill the middle of jan :( (lian-li a71) but the only bonus is that yesterday i wanted to buy a new laptop but staples didnt reserve it for me (although i called them  ) so now i have the money for my watercooling (£500 :D )
@Darth Beavis...
What could I possibly say...DP, Skulltrail, 4 x GTX...
Sheesh...you could be a poster child for Xtreme Overkill
My pump is an AquaComputer AquaStream XT Ultra. :D
PUSH
I think that's not a big problem, but I have not tested it yet. ;)

What kind of temps do you get with your Setup ? The Tubing is very small :P
Mfg :)
AquaComputer :cheer:
Those Push-in fittings look to be for 8mm O.D. x 6mm I.D. tubing.
Darth Beavis,
Kindly confirm for sure that the DD blocks are single slot solutions, and that the slots in between the video cards are fully usable. I have an itch to pull the trigger on the DD blocks, despite all the smack talk going on about these blocks.
I myslef would like to know how the connections work on the fouth GTX card. I now understand how to rig three GTX cards even without the new SLI connector, but the fourth video card just escapes me. Plus I hear that the drivers out now are supposed to work.
Four 9800 GTXes on a Skull Trail and two QX9775s with eight cores will be a hoot!!
biggest problem with the DD blocks is that your barbs screw into a piece of plexi instead of the copper like EK. I've had two and both leaked at the plexi barbs
my upcoming rig should get crysis on his knees though. Not fully i don't know about that but it will def. bring it down :D
QX9650 @ +4GHz
Asus X48 mobo
4GB OCZ DDR3 1800MHz PC14400
Geforce9 9800 GTX
2x WD Raptor 150Gb RAID 0
i really hope they bring it in march, cause the one they bring in 19th of februari is a dual pcb card as they said ( still nvidia hasn't said something official about it :( )
and i really wanna get of my current system wich is +3 years old  :shakes:
Built a system for a friend today and heres a quick peak at the result. The case is the Tt Armor (not my idea of a good case...)

HOLY COW what size tubing is that? Looks like a big blue hot dog.
1/2'' looks like primochill tubins they ara just too fat :)
here take a look on the left is primochill on the rihgt is on normal ordinary tube
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/9...1854lg1.th.jpg
yes it is primochill, theres nothing wrong with it being thick, seeing as its the best tubing to work with.
I nearly finished my system, maybe I gonna change the color of the mb loop to a deep red and clean it a bit.
Well it does not look that perfect like other ones but I'm fine with the temps :)
just testing a q66 for a friend of mine.

http://www.gwebspace.de/sargatanas/P....07-grakas.jpg
Sargatanas,
How do you connect your two stacked cases ? I'm highly interested in that arrangement. Do you drill through the floor of the top case and through the ceiling of the bottom case?
Many thanks / Danke
DarthBeavis,
It looks like the much ballyhooed quad SLI is on its way, but only in the form of a 9800GX2 style card (remember the 7950GX2?). This time, quad SLI is going to work properly and work well. I got burnt the last time.
Pure speculation but there are lots of circulating rumors that Six-Way SLI will be coming as well, eventually. You obviously know that, because most the rumors are on NV's forums, no doubt hyped by the company itself.
The Skull Trail mobo's fourth PCI-E slot would not be useful because of the dual slot nature of the GX2 card.
The Chinese talk about a February 19th date. Warning that this is speculation (with all due respect to the Mainland Chinese) and that the release date may distinctly be an Asian release date, and as usual, the rest of the world sucks wind for one month before getting access to the toys.

What am I? A fool? You probably have the cards at home already, beta testing them rofl :)
well the bottom case has a huge hole without the plate which is normally mounted.
http://www.pc-cooling.de/images/prod...84300-6_gr.jpg
I changed the plate from the upper tower aswell so I was able to use a dual radiator at the top.
http://www.pc-cooling.de/images/prod...0100109_gr.jpg
then I drilled a huge hole at the right part in the floor of the upper case where the psu takes place. the hole is big enough for all the hdd cables, tube etc.
wasnt that difficult...looks a bit messy atm but I think I should make some pictures of the right parts of each tower.
makes it easier to understand the mounting since my engl. is quite poor atm ^^
the loops run through both towers, since the bottom chamber is only for testing atm
Thank you very much.
Do you use nuts and bolts to fasten the two cases, use velcro, or use nothing because the cases are so heavy ?
well 3x 8mm bolts on the left and 3 on the right side. is quite enough since the towers weight too much to carry it, think 'bout 50kg.
Thank you very much!

@CyberDruid: man, you make water-cooling look sooooo easy! drool
@ [XC] Kayin . . .Cooling quad with Two Thermochills in the loop, 10 SilenX in push/pull;)
@ Bla$nA . . .Don't worry, I will have new cards eventually . . .sponsors FTW ;)
@ Zgradis . . .Quad SLI = Intel SkullTrail . . .Tri SLI = Nvidia 780i . . .I do both
@ IanY. . .Single slot bro. Slots inbetween are usuable if the card is not tall. These blocks perform and I have numbers to prove it. My understanding is no connector needed for quad.
@ lennox . . .yes, that is an issue
I am waiting for a pump to arrive so I can change my setup to waterchill using the phase change unit. I was unable to get a good seating on the CPU on this board so my temps sucked.
I am working on getting procs for the SkullTrail and need get blocks made for the SkullTrail yet including a GPU solution.
