Yikes!! I left out "overclocker" went back and edited. :toast: Aren't we all something though. Demanding so much of our chips:D Anything that won't do 2.8ghz with 1.4vcore I simply will not own.

Your correct itznfb. both TankGuys & Flickerdown have CCB1E's only. Still awesome steppings though:woot:

max is about 3025, 1.60V

Above average result? CCBWE supposed to be worse then CCB1E... :stick:

The CCBBE 0610DPMW I'm using clocks the same with UCCC and Micron -5B D. I had some HZ and Ballistix. You might want to try 2.6v since that's what it took for mine to be stable at 2900, 1.39 (1.425v in bios) for 10 hours priming, using the 166 divider.

Also to itznfb, you need to calm down, it ain't that hard to clock a CPU. If you have cool temps, a monkey can do it. The CCBBE 0610 have two very different waferids which show why some are ok and some are great. Rufus must have said this 5 times, and he's 100% right.

I just completed two burn in sessions of Toast and my previous prime stable OC using 1.52Vcore now only requires 1.48! Not bad as the load temp nicely dropped as well. I tried that vcore before and it wouldnt pass prime at all. Happy camper here :-)

I see you took my advice! It works great! I am still seeing some results from burn in, 3ghz will come at 1.5V eventually.....

Well it's done, my chip is hitting eBay tonight (POS)

I figured for the price I could get my wife a more modest cpu and use the overheard to purchase a replacement. :p

No worries she really doesn't care what she runs as long as it can run get schoolwork done :D

Summer is here and temps suck, so I backed off until I get some water. Still on warm air. 24/7 for now.:) Still the same old CCBBE 0610DPMW. Awsome little chip.

Absolute best move to make. I had built my wife a pc around her AIW 9600 pro cuz she said "I want to watch TV on my PC still". Two weeks later, she wanted a laptop and hasn't touch that PC since. That was March. Stuck us with a DFI nforce 3 ultra-d & Opteron 148 CAYBE, that aren't worth near as what I paid for 'em at the time. I use em now just because of the amount of $ that was spent, but you get my point I'm sure. Sell that Opty before AM2 & DDR2 make it worth $175 used.

was messing around with new bios yesterday and forgot to changeback to 311x9
so the screenshot shows primestable at 2780 :slapass: stupid of me not to check that first but if you want il do a new one overnight @ 2800 or 2820 to compensate :D

I put mine up for 225. hopefully someone will bite, not that its a bad chip. I run it at 2.4 all day long on stock volts. I would be a fine chip for the average Joe imo.

no matter what you buy them, when it comes right down to it they never really see the value in that. :clap:

And I wouldn't last a month without a hardware upgrade or change. My wife makes more $ than I, so it's mostly her $ we spend on my toys & hobbies.:D

I am currently using watercooling but I am confident that air cooling would show only slightly lower numbers. My chip performed very well under some horrible mounts of the waterblock until I found an old duron to take the heatsink circle things off of.
