If you don't mind me asking, what case is that in your sig?

I was thinking about sleeving some of my cabling on my Corsair HX620 and wanted to know whether or not 1/8" sleeving is what most people use to sleeve the individual wires?
And the same goes with 1/8" heatshrink as well?
Get murdermod small at www.mdpc-x.com better than anything else

thanks to all who have posted guides and tips
thanks Nils for the sleeve :)
guys i was planning on ordering sleeving from mdpc-x. just was a bit confused regarding the amount of sleeving that i should order. i am planning on sleeving the corsair hx-1000 psu 24 pin power connector, 8-pin power connector, 4 pci connectors, and a couple of fans. the colour scheme that i have in mind is going to be red and black so is it possible for some1 to advise how much of each (red and black) would be enough? oh and i have 6 sata cables that i wont mind sleeving too so how much for 6 sata cables would i need. thanks:)
Get the amount like in here: http://en.mdpc-x.com/mdpc-sleeve/sle...sleeve-kit.htm just change colours etc. And if possible get some extra small heatshrinks (more than is listed in this sleeve-kit). I sleeved my 3 SATA cable and still have plenty of both sleeve and shrink. If you're patient and skilled a bit you will be fine with staple, if you don't feel confident with that just get the tool.
thanks ddgh i have sleeved my psu before....used a real bad quality sleeve, i used a precision tool to get out the connectors before but this time i have ordered the tool. hope things will be quicker this time
with the corsair HX 1000 you will need staples as well because some off the pins are different and will not go out with the removing tool.
you can find the tutorial for the staple trick on the first page off this tread.
good luck
BTW: its not the removing tool that is bad(its great), but its the pins that cause the problem
Well, that's true that pins differ a lot. In my current Be Quiet E7 680W staple worked as a charm. In previous Corsair VX450W it was a pain in a*s to remove them, especially 6pin. Good luck!!
Sleeving experts.. I call for your knowledge again...
this cable is the power connector for a scythe fan controller. I want to remove the extension from this cable on the molex.. where it goes from male to female. I want it to simply be a male lead. How would I do this?
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7651/img0130ay.jpg is a huge picture of the cable.. let me know thanks!
As if it hasn't been said enough but, excellent guide.
Planning on tackling some sleeving myself.
Guys, has any one tried this one?

Follow up. Attempted unisleeving this weekend and ran into two problems.
1. My power supply's connectors are too narrow to fit the staples in. Tried using aluminum from a can and it barely fits into both sides, but is not strong enough to push the pins in.
2. 1/4" 2 to 1 heatshink does not shrink down enough to fit inside the holes.
Tips? Where to buy 3 to 1 heatshink?
Let me guess: Corsair PSU? I have no clue if ATX pin remover will be of any help if you can't fit there a staple.
You can order proper heatshrinks here: http://en.mdpc-x.com/mdpc-sleeve/hea...mall-black.htm (and it's 4:1;))
