Nope I'm on the 04-08 iirc. And yeah when I tried 225fsb, I just exited memtest when it got to about 80,000 errors, since I didn't feel like watching the list go on indefinately.....Quote:

Winbond builds CH/BH-UTT using technology from Infineon. Thus Infineon prohibited Winbond to label the IC's.Quote:

Edit: Found this datasheet. There are only 175nm (BH-x) and 130nm (CH-x) chips listed...
Edit2: Techpowerup & TwinMos Twister BH-5: Orig. BH = 175nm
Edit3: I asked Alonso about it: BH-UTT is 175nm afterall.
@Anyone: PM me if you have a datasheet for Winbond BH-5 and CH/BH-UTT!
I've finally given up on them...Quote:

Oh yeah, I tried 2.8v, 2.9v & 3v & still errors... No Overclocks, just stock trying to do what these sticks are rated to do...
Got 35 errors after an hour or so..
Went into bios, adjusted "DRAM Drive Strength" from "Normal" to "Weak"...
Re-ran Memtest.... Wanted to let it run for 24 hours, if it passes that, then I call it stable....
Failed after 52 passes of the standard test... Errored out at Test 7 so I restarted Memtest again just to make sure & at the it failed at Test 7 again after 1 pass...
And just to make sure that my 3500+ Winnie's memory controller or DFI SLI-D was at fault, I re-tested my 2x256MB XMS3500 (BH5) @ 11x220 @ 1.5v with these settings for the RAM:
200 1:1
CPC: enabled
2-2-5-2-2-7-14-2-2-1-2-3120-auto-enabled-auto-0-level2-level1-auto-auto-256 Cycles-08x-04x-Disable
4 hours later & not 1 single error...
Re-ran Memtest again with the same settings except I changed "DRAM Drive Strength" to Level4 & again 4 hours+ & not a single error...
Running Memtest with Drive Strength set to "Level8" now...
Now I just gotta get back my other 2x256MB XMS3500 that I loaned to my mate thinking that I had some kick-a$$ RAM now & didn't need it anymore while I wait for this RMA procedure...
Never should've sold my 2x512MB XMS3500 to get VX4000 (because I fell for the "DDR500 @ 2-2-2-8 @ 3.3v!!") in the first place... then I wouldn't have had to go through this...
Faulty VX4000, now faulty PC3200 GOLD (WINBOND BH-die!!!)...
One Unhappy Camper...
Minnyboy :( :( :(
256's wont put the same load on the memory controller as 512's.
Minnyboy, the Neo2 has a known issue with DDR voltage when you set tRCD=2. Are you running a booster? Booster in slot 4 memory in slots 1&2 (closest to CPU?)
Im just curious what the highest u guys are getting ur ram too. I got my ram a couple days ago and after a 8 hour burn in i noticed i got signi:banana::banana::banana:ntly better clocks. First day I was getting 240 2-2-2-9 and after the burn in i can do 270 2-2-2-8 heres the validation linky
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=15346
THat was a 3.55v. I can Memtest (test 5) for over 30 passes at 268 2-2-2-8
and i can get into windows at 273 at 3.88v!
Kudos
geez i still haven't done a burn in on this ram as been switching cpus etc... must do some burn in sessions :)Quote:

Update. Messed with them a little more yesterday. With vdimm at 3.34v under load, both sticks are good for 240mhz+, but together they go apesh|t above 210mhz :(
You guys think that's the mem controller's fault on my 3700+? Mobo?
Never tried this ram on DFI NF3 250Gb but if it's like DFI NF4 play with Tref and drive strength settings and interleave off and on
decided to start a new thread as i changed my cpu and other stuff http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=61204 :)
Yes I am running it with a booster in the slots you stated...Quote:

use a DMM and monitor the voltage while its at idle and under load.
If my booster was malfunctioning, my 2x256MB XMS3500 would not be able to run at 250MHz @ 2-2-2-5 @ 3.3v..Quote:

measure from any point that gives a vdimm reading: missing capacitor, pin7 of dimm slot, output leg of vdimm mosfet, etc. Backside of the booster will have some measurement points too.
what is your max eva ?
any chance it could do 250-260 fsb on my Intel (P5P800 + 640) @ 2-2-2-5 ?
No need to measure anything anymore...Quote:

That's with
Rd-Wr @ 4
Wr-Rd @ 2
Refresh @ 7.8us
Command @ 1T
Row Cycle @ 12
Ras-Tas @ 3 or 4
Write Recovery @ 3...
Whacks it in my DFI & 3.0v @ 2-3-2-5 & everything else set @ auto & getting lots more errors now...
Tried 2-2-2-5 & auto evrything & it was even worse... That's at 200HTT 1:1... 2.8v, 2.9v, 3.0v.. Didn't bother to try any higher...
Oh, with the booster in my K8N Neo2, & Vdimm set at 2.85 in the bios, it says 2.7v when the knob is turned all the way left... Happened before but still ran fine with my 256MB XMS sticks...
Using a measly pair of KVR500 @ 3.0v @ the moment until my PC3200 GOLD come back from RMA...
Minh
I think eva's max is around 266 with the setup in this thread...Quote:

Minh
I can run interleave enabled @ 272, this screen was @ 270Quote:

max with OCZ PC3200 Gold BH-5 is 260mhz 2-2-2-6 stable and just on the verge of getting 266mhz 2-2-2-6 to work heh
Im stuck at at 240 1.5,2,2,6 and its not budging. nothing but errors at 2,2,2,6 or 7 above 245.
have you tried a64tweaker settings from others, like eva's?
