Sounds like one of the mem timings might be off.

appeared the first z87M OCF in Italy.
There's any difference in efficiency between the z87M OCF and OCF standard?
My -M OC Formula arrived today :D Thankyou to Nick & ASRock for the support!
I got a feel for the BIOS by binning some CPUs and..... oh! OH MY! The BIOS is EXCELLENT. It's easy to navigate and timings/settings are explained PROPERLY. If I wouldn't have looked like a moron, standing there in my garage, I would have given the BIOS a round of applause.
Here's some pics:

(I expect the board will get its own review thread at some point)
The board will be used mostly for 3D (funny that....;),) but it's been a while since I SPi'd and it'd be nice to get back into it. I have some alright Hynix CFR here, so who knows what will happen :D
Hi guys, are there any secret measurement points on the OCM?
Nice pics Kenny!
look very nice Kenny :)
ordered today mine OCF , can?t wait:)
nice pics Kenny, shows what an outstanding job the packing was for the motherboard. it was protected like it was fort knox... quiet a bit more than was pictured, but you showed the zip-ties
New bios coming . Still has some issue with target cache present value ,but will not effect oc
1. fix some auto rule for daily user , improve the oc ability on retail CPU
2. improve memory oc under cold

I also ordered a Z87M yesterday - just to play with Hynix MFR and bin retail CPUs.
I'm really looking forward for this board. Should be arrive today, so maybe first results tonight an air :)
tRRD 4 is real min internally in the chipset. Remember, bus is 64 bit wide. Can't send ACT before last burst of 4 clocks is complete. Setting lower register will just revert to min or arbitrary value.
This week splmann visited me in Vienna and we benched for three days until the bitter end! :toast:

We binned about 11 modules rated at 2800 CL12, 1.65 volts
One ADATA module did 3300 MHz with only 1.6 to 1.55 volts on air while pretesting, but it died on ln2 before we could max it out. Couldn't handle the voltage, I guess!

The EK Memory Cooler got some action. Nice price, but the upper black part of the pot should not be made of plastic!

That's the Hynix MFR you should get! Takes 2,4 volts (sometimes only in Windows) and scales both with voltage and cold. No cold bugs on our best 2 sticks!

The funny little guy is splmann, the other punk is me
We got a pretty nice result with an 8 gb module (2800 CL12 @ 1.65 volts) from ADATA: 3700 MHz CL13

Our best two 4 GB sticks (after the low voltage one, that died) were both ADATA and did 1900 (mine) and 1930 (splmann). Crazy how the battle for memory suddenly is really about memory! :D
3802 MHz CL14

Thanks to Nick Shih for the extraordinary support. Your board is a very nice piece of hardware. Fast bootup, definitely the fastest fail recovery out there and very predictable. Congrats to Nick and the ASRock team!
was bored yesterday and just fooling around

hypers work... pretty friggin well I might add. you may add this image to 1st post as proof that they do function.
Nice, not bad efficiency also! Wondering what timings they do frozen :)

:D :D :D Now I just need a chip!
new bios look good
TeamX (black pcb/new batch from egg)
straight boot (1.8v/air)

sweet clockage!
im still playing with hypers
for some reason, i'm having a whole lot of fun with them too :)
^^ I may get some as well ..the efficiency of this board and Hypers makes a lot of sense
P.S. I'm not in to high clocks/validation ...just had to try it :D
EDIT;
Air (1.85v)-week 13/13 :)
