hmm 19 multi, not that bad would be nice to replace my 3.8ghz 24/7 bloomfield against a 3.8ghz 24/7 gulftown. :D
wow i cant wait to drop one of these in me comp and crunch crunch crunch.
I can get a gulftown but I need the bios for the P6T Deluxe.
I am waiting on Gulftown Extreme Edition for my next build and am finally making two upgrades:
to SSDs
to 2560x1600
Is there going to be enough graphics horsepower by then to make it all work? It seems Nvidia and AMD/ATI are LAGGING.
I want 2560x1600 DX10 Crysis at 120fps with 16xAA
if we were all running servers at home, I'd say yes.
but since desktop applications and games rarely stray past dual CPU optimalisation, I definitely agree with the 8 cores/16 cores is major overkill;
I'd rather have a speedier quad core, or blazing fast dual core:)
I've been asking around and everyone I've spoken to, says there is no P6T bios out and only gigabyte bios is available.
A little up of the topic for some new info:

Looks like that's why they were so interested in heatpipes technology ;)
What mobo are you testing on?
This is on a Giga extreme. Any suggestions on bios setting to get that vcore down?

Well, since he asked if there was any way of getting his Vcore down, I assume he tried setting it lower before, and failed ;)
