that's massive
great benches and nice hardware pr0n, too bad i can't afford ln2 as im an unemployed 15 year old :P
So Vince when did you sign the shoe deal? Why did you go with Etnies, I always thought you were a DC guy?
jake, that is the worst picture ever :P
Sorry freak for some reason my camera is acting up.
Great scores , new drivers are ...
Keep 'em coming ! :)
177.39 plus the PhysX driver is nice-

Sorry for OT: rofl :D Harry Potter muahaha
Come on VInce, break 100k, that setup is able to do more than what you have shown ^^
Did you guys manage to get even dual GTX280 SLI working on skulltrail ?
I have a skulltrail system but cant decide what graphics cards are best to get considerign all the lanes are PCI-E 1.1.
I think maybe 5800mhz+ could do low 90's, but 100k is pushing it.
Futuremark removed all the gtx280 scores from the orb and has now instituted their driver approval policy for vantage as well as the other 3dmarks guys. They are just doing their job as driver approval policy implementation is normal for 3dmark and was already planned for vantage.
I wonder if the timing had something to do with that :banana::banana::banana:ing lame ass article the inquirer wrote about NVIDIA cheating yesterday  That article is the biggest POS I have ever seen btw, looked liked it was co-written by AMD and INTEL
Until they implement NVIDIA's physX technology into the scoring officially, we will have to run EIGHT benchmarks on LN2 for vantage...4 presets with approved/non physX drivers if you want HOF spot, and then again with the physX drivers for the big numbers and highest scores :D
Here are some new vantage high scores :D

Sweet update and Vince its all about keep pushing it...
"Based on the specification and design of the CPU tests, GPU make, type or driver version may not have a significant effect on the results of either of the CPU tests as indicated in Section 7.3 of the 3DMark Vantage specification and whitepaper."
Since NVIDIA's PhysX driver affects dramatically to results of CPU tests it might never be accepted as official score.
Sampsa you know that the test is a Physics test, no one expected it to be so strong/body slam ATI.
End result is the consumers get more for their money for the better performing card in physics, ATI wants nothing more than to snuff it as quickly as possible or they loose more market share.
Im running UT3 now and blown away. Vince we gotta meet up online and battle it out.
Nice score bump btw.
Yes sure, but regarding to Futuremark's rules it was designed to test CPU Physics, not GPU physics which is ALREADY being tested in Game tests 1 & 2. The "problem" Futuremark is facing is that NVIDIA bought AGEIA in the middle of 3DMark Vantage development.
And since there are alot more games using Havok's physics engine than AGEIA's PhysX it's kinda stupid that Futuremark implemented support for PPU in the first place.
Anyway, will be interesting to see how things go on. Lets stay in the subject. Sorry about offtopic :)
So sweet numbers k|ngp|n.., mama mia.., :-)
One more :)
The Inquirer article was written by Charlie Demerjian. Rumor says this happened in Taiwan Computex 2008:
"Perez started laying down some ground rules, Charlie said, no, no, hell, no, what the F**’s wrong with you, you deaf – no.
Body builder and short fused Perez had had just about enough and before anyone could blink, karate trained Perez had ninjaed his dish of eggs right into Charlie’s face.
Swift acting guards quickly defused the situation as Demerjian was in the process of loading his quart bottle of Coke with Mentos – the carnage was avoided but it was a tense few moments. Both men were escorted out of the restaurant, through separate doors and the police took over after that."
