I can boot up to HTT 240MHz anytime, everytime. I also confirmed that this CPU is less stable with high overclock under x64 OSes... For example I can boot into Vista x32 at 2640MHz but for XP x64 only 2520MHz is possible.Quote:

To show people the DFI 790FX is quite a capable board here is 10 mins tweaked 6400+ results....base timings 5-5-4-15 the only things I changed with some voltages.

Look at the HT speed...1500+mhz ;) not sure if it was 100% stable though.
4GB tests coming soon then back to Phenom if I ever get a CPU I can keep ;)

I ran full weekend loop of 3DMark06 at 8x400 (x5 HT Link) with 5000+ - thats 2GHz HT =)
I think some guys had it up to 2.5GHz HT Link with 6400+ CPU (over 500HT ref. clock!)
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I went googling to no effect...
I see on the Everest shots, that the chipset on the DFI says "AMD Hammer", where as the GB says "K10"
Does that name change when ya put in a K10, or is the DFI a different chipset.

My K9A2 Platinum fail to post at 300Mhz ref.HTT. Max HTT was ~275Mhz and very unstable!
I don't know why :(, 250*5 appears to be my max.
I see the DFI uses the 790/600 combo like the rest...
Forget it..
DFI website was locking up/stalling, but I finally found it.

PS. 2152HTT was completely stable for normal usage. I didn't run Prime for hours, but I browsed internet and played HL2:EP2 at that setting for at least 3 hours :)! Good old X2 6000+ ;)

I can run 240MHz HT ref, I'm running it now but I was asking about NB speed above 2GHz. ;) How high have you benched and booted? Use AM2+ P-States to see if you can run 10x/11x/12x multi on NB and HT at the same time at 2.2GHz and 2.64GHz. :)Quote:

It's funny, these boards make K8 as easy as you could imagine to OC, massive ht clock, massive HT frequency (yes I can run 2000Mhz just fine on my K8s aswell)
But god damn, K10! So frustrating.
And for the record, Like lightman I can boot 240 every day no problem.
I've also got a 2nd Phenom here. It's exactly the same, then again it's an almost identical batch.
