I'm sorry for all you last die hard AMD fans,the core 2's is a hell of alot better than what you people seem to think.Stop bringing up super pi times.The core is kicking the crap out of anything from AMD at this time and even the mighty barcelona can't close the gap.Don't forget the cores are getting 1ghz+ OC with ease out of the latest bins.
I was hoping more than most of you for bacelona to out perform intel(I'v invested in AMD)and to tell you the truth,this time around I don't think the k10 will have the same wow appeal that the first k8s did.Intel is also sitting on 45nn quad cores that can run over 3 giz with ease.
fans boys aside....Why would any sane person buy a 600 dollar barcelona over a 265 dollar q6600 that can run at 3.6 ghz?
