Sorry if this has already been asked, but what's the vDroop like with these boards? And, does anyone know how the IP-35 vanilla and IP-35E compare?
This board looks promising for sure, and may just be my next upgrade :)

If someone could link up or email me a copy of uguru for IP35 that would be awesome, I left mine in Taipei.
Thanks

I dunno if it is the right one: ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/u...guru_v3104.zip Got it from the first post of this thread...?
Can anyone verify whether the IP35 has SATA/RAID issues, like the P5K?
Is the FSB strap @500 or somewhere else?
(my Commando's is @400).
nice mboard !
btw did someone test ip35-e or ip35 (non-pro) ???
@logigamer : almost the same
god why cant i make more money so i can afford to replace my dead system
and buy this mobo.
dang it.
this AM2 brisbane is killing me compared to my conroe.
£65 - in Poland £75 :D
I have been thinking about ip-35 (non-pro) but its costs £97 - for OTES (i have WC), and FW (i dont use FW) - so its waste of money ... isnt it? ;)
This should answer most of your question:- http://www.abit.com.tw/page/uk/news/...CNO=uk_0705211
You will have to wait till someone purchases the other boards to see if bios is same:-

Nelly i have seen this few days ago... but like You said there is no information about bios... we must wait
Good luck waiting for bios updates.
everything I've read so far says that it works out of the box though :)
are you referring to DVD SATA drive running concurrently with Raid 0 (on the Intel bus)???...if so, my internal SATA DVD drive works like a charm alongside two 7200.10 seagate drives on the Intel bus in Raid 0!
i can not run Prime 95 more than 3 minutes at 500 FSB or above with my Q6600...i am stuck at 495 FSB for a safe-reliable operating FSB on the IP35 Pro...i can boot into windows at 500 FSB or slightly above but why push it.
Hi,
Didn't see anyone complain about squealing coils, is this board safety squealing less ? As I'm fed up with the second DFI 965 (first one was DOA) that's squealing .
Thx
Actually I was referring to SATA issues in general. SoFarFromHome and others have reported several SATA issues. Don't know if they've been resolved or not but thanks for letting me know about the IP35 in this regard.
495 on a Q6600 is quite good.
I'm wondering if there's a strap in between 400-500 FSB on the IP35 Pro. I've read the DQ6 has a strap change around 417 and some say higher. I'm looking for a board with at least a 485 or higher strap. It will allow me greater flexibility when I go to water.
Well Well, I ordered one of these bad muthas...
Should get it on Thursday, I currently have a lapped 6400 that will do 3.5 easy enough at an 8x multi, I'f its good enough I may replace my AMD rig with a similar setup after the intel price drop and upgrade my CPU too.. we will see.
testing stability

Its pretty hard unless benching to tell the diff between Conroe and a 3600+ @ 2.80GHz :yepp:
Regarding bios updates for this new board, Abit should spend a little time fixing all the other previous mobo bios bugs first (and the list is endless) but I wont hold my breath :shakes:
