Oh well im quite supprised may be just the light relecting off the back ground or some thing.
Ill check my logs to see what you got as it does look like a yellow green mix but stranger things have happend. Unless i sent you one of the new test mixes. Hmm never mind.

if you have darker and deeper green, then mayhem I wouldnt mind ordering the green again.
if you are testing more green color, then I would wait for the perfect darker and deeper green just like the color blue you have. I am in love with that blue color
green is not easy to get right between powder balance ammount used. I dont what to use to much im still working on it but give me time ill get the mix right eventauly.
Oky after a bit of hunting and well some more hunting.
Mayhems Dyes can be used with Thermochill EC6
The reason is that EC6 is made up of 75% to 80% deionised water.
Ive got the pure liquid that makes up the other 20% to 25% of EC6 and well i can replecate it easly.
So even though Thermochill say do not mix other dyes with there product you can do with out any problems and the thermal conductivity and the electrical conductivity of the liquid will not change.
how ever saying that adding to much dye will effect its performace some what but not by much.
Thermochill EC6 Now real UV green active. Using Mayhems dyes. (unrealsed UV Green BTW)

My wife is a vet and we own a vet clinic bud so this stuff is important to me as well. As for the pre mix i aint selling it just yet there for i wont be handing any thing out just yet as they are still under test and if you what MDS sheet for thermochills products you can get them off there site.
My dyes are simple. dye + water. I dont use rubbish in my dyes because they dont need it. I think if you go back a step and read through the thread some ware i said this before.

That's difficult to say. For most of us everything more than the price of distilled water and a biocide to make the same amount of coolant is already to much. Most users don't need a coolant that can be used with temperatures below 0° Celsius. :DQuote:

Dont get over excited though early stage testing. Ive basicly made the same mix as a well known brand. The only diffrence is im using my dyes in them as well.
how ever you can see all though the green is UV becuase ive made is so green its drowning out the UV aspect of it :(.

I use plastic test tubes so i can test staining and allso there cheaper to buy !!! This is sample set 4 and i have a few more comming out to play with in the next few days. Ill do a UV Black light shot tonight.
The most striking is the new clear UV Blue its way stronger than the ones ive used in the past so much so you can see a light blue tinge to the liquid when its not under UV. The black is supposed to be pure black but i can see its a very very deep purple / blue when under close inspection i realy would like a pure black but aftyer all the samples ive tested from 8 compnays this is the closet ive managed to get to it so far.
Update :
Ive mixed 50% Light Blue, 25% yellow and 25% of the new UV Clear blue 2 and i think ive have found a brillant UV Green.

Im putting together MDS sheets for all the products as well. How ever the UV pink is being changed to the un-safe for animals. After chatting with diffrent chemist they all have difrent options weather or not it is but id rather be safe than sorry.

I got my dyes today.. Thanks for the extra uv pink :D I have a pic of one drop blue 2 in 500ml of water. Not a good pic, the color is not as it looks to the naked eye. Then it's darker.
So i know how you have it when trying to get the color right... Might play with the dyes and put it in my loop this weekend...

I do have UV red wich is Rhodamine but i dont sell it untill its fully tested allso i dont think UV red looks red under UV it a horrable Yellow.
But i doe a none UV red wich looks much better and doesnt have the same effect as Rhodamine. If you read bacjk a few pages youll see how we make the red into UV.

None UV blood Red (none Mixed) this is a pure strong red with no mixed colours. this 1/2 drop about 0.05 ml to the liquid,

1) Test staining cheaply on plastics
2) See how it looks in thin tubing

Oky the Yellow is up in the shop ive been assured that this will have no problems if i go through the sames tests with all the other dyes. So its getting hammerd right now lol ...
The yellow once again is a base dyes and there is allso a mix kit up with it in. But be warned there isnt much stock of it so grab it while you can !!!!
Once its gone its going to be a couple of weeks before i can get it in again unless i suddenly make a fortune lol.

Not to sure waether to just sell them clear and let people add there own dyes or mix them so they dont have to. The best would be to mix there own as they then can have the colour they whant.

I love color in my loops, but had almost sworn off due to problems with other coolants - wishing you great success, and will be trying some of your products soon.

Here is how my mix turned out when i tried to copy the 40% andy red\ 40% uv pink 10% purple.. But its more like 40\40\15-20 mix.. And not distilled water, but spring water. Might make a difference?
Tried it with my big 120cm uv light but didn't change that much in color. Getting the deep red might not be that easy :D

Its a fine ballance getting it right but tbh i like that mix at the bottom :).
Oh but it's the same one. Just that my photo skills are like 0. And the camera + optic isn't the best. I hope i can get a darker red next time. :D
How powerful is the UV light you are using in order to get these results?
I Use 2 x cold cathods wich have foil to redirect the light forwards towards the item im taking a photo off.
Most ppl get the same reslts as the UV aspect is pritty strong if done correctly.
But it allso depnds on the back ground as ive taken pics with black and red back grounds as well that dont reflect the light as much as a white back ground. Perosnly i dont use photo tricks but ive seen some ammazing results with some ppl who have played a little :).
i dont think its that hard to get a deep red you just need to play but if you after a UV deep red ... well thats another matter .. I will allways say this i have not found a perfect UV Red yet and ive tested over 180 dyes now ...

I need to work on it more but this will give you the base idear on how to mix these colours the best way.
This is what happen when i tried to get a nice red again. The left one is 500ml distiled water with i think 3 drops candy red, 2 uv pink and 1 purple. It turned to a dirty color on top, but a nice pink\purple looking from the side..

The one on the left is 4-450ml og distiled water, 1 drop candy red and 1 drop blue2. It went to a purple color. Just put in the 5970 with ek block so i had to use one..

Took the one on the left, but that wasn't going to fill the hole loop.. So i mixed inn the one on the right to :D This is how it turned out..

how much water is in you loop ill work out the right mix for you.
It's about 1000ml now. But when its finished there's going to be a different setup. 1 loop with same res, cpu block, 240 rad, + mosfet and nb\sb blocks.
Second loop same res, pump, 360 rad 2x5970 with ek block's. It's not to bad this one.. Fun to mix :D
wow 1 ltr in a mix and you after blood red in that mix.
I think the best thing for you is to hold back a bit till ive got blood dye past it testing. 1 Lts of mix is alot esp using candy red to get blood red you gonna need at least 3 to 4ml of that wich is to much.
Allso i noted you used 1 drop of blue and purple to 500ml to make deep red. you may whant to water down the blue or purple first say 1 drop to 25mls of liquid each and then take 1 drop of that. The dyes you have there are 50x stronger than normal shop bought dyes mate. so 5ml of dark blue in realty willeasly do 15 to 20+ (i say plus cos most of the time 2 drops of dark plue is enough for 1 normal system) water cooling system wich out a problem. were as blood red does between 5 to 8 water cooling systems.
Well the second loop is easy. Going to be dark blue, or aqua like one of you're testers got.. And hopefully nice dark red. But the case isn't here. So i have some time to play with it :D

dreamaxx - i dont have a new purple. Deep purple nas been out a while and is fully tested by users now and even in my own systems.

Thats a colour he has made with either a mix kit from my dye range or a mix of colours. how ever just by using deep purple you can obtain that colour with just 3 to 4 drops.
