here ya go http://www.hwbot.org/
hi guys
first I should congratulate to the all of the contestants, especially to the winners. team Sweden USA(s) and Russian. this was my first international experience and I learn many thing from you guys when I looking to your professional works and equipments.
you can see some of the images of the contest from our camera's view in our weblog at www.overclockingandme.blogfa.com
for the people seeking for the free internet connection in the hyatt rooms: try Apple wifi net :up:
Congrats winners! WTG Elmor and SF3D
What floor though? :D
Anyways, congrats to all the competitors, it was a very demanding day (even those of snapping pics & asking questions ;)) and they all performed very admirably.
Also, I think I speak for all the competitors and reporters in saying that Gigabyte has really done a tremendous job organizing this event. The choice of venue, the hospitality, the special arrangements, everything has been above & beyond what most of us were expecting...except for the sudden Red Bull drought that was imposed on reporters :p:
I can't wait to see what they have in store for us tomorrow (aside from another painfully early wake-up call )
Now I have to go through 700-800 images, hope to have a great chronicle of the days events by morning.
Congrats to the winning teams, and congrats to all for participating! Must have been awesome benching with so many great overclockers :)
Congrats to all have recieved rewards !!
:up: :clap::clap::clap:
again congrats the winners and thanks to gigabyte give such an op:banana::banana::banana::banana:ity to overclockers, i hope we wouldnt have troubles with motherboard,to bad we realised late mabo is the problem, when we change cpu, the same thing happened and higher than sth 5.2g mabo was shutting down itself while booting up xp although cpu can post 5.6g  whateverrrr... it was great to be with all you guys!!!!
congrats Sweden 2
great benching and some :banana::banana::banana: hot dancing in the club later that day
particuarly elmor, Team.KGB, Mean Machine, Pt1t and French connection as well as my team mates and many others..............
SF3D was too busy chatting up some local chicks :D:D
will post videos and photos when i get back home
i was sad to find out about hipro5 not coming but i would do the same in his place....i hope your wife has no serious issues
as for Team Australia.....................we just had ridiculous amounts of issues with our hardware.................it was mine and Deanzo's worst ever benching day :(. we were not alone.....Giorgprimo & Andrea who were right in front of us has kinda similar problems and many others as well.....just the way the cookie crumbles i guess hehehehe. btw just for the record.....our replacement CPU was the better of the two only able to bench at 5.1GHz ROFL ROFL ROFL.........and did i mention out max FSB was 340FSB hahaha. i felt deflated until we hit the club that night and the fun began
i have to say that meeting all these great guys was just simply amazing.
We're still not done partying.........one more night to go fellas :D:D:D:D:D:D
I don't know what the story was with German team but it's pretty disappointing for both of them on missing the event and i still don't even know what the reasons were for both No_name and strumwinter skipping the comp :confused::confused::confused::confused: what's up with that
Gigabyte did a great job with this event.....awesome stuff & keep it comin' :)
dinos22
About the dancing; I know you were just trying to get in my pants, so I stuck to Harshal and Zolkorn instead. :D
About the chick, I actually took her to the club, I wasn't counting on meeting you others there. :P
Lastly about the problems during the benches; for me and Ekberg, everything was just perfect until the end of the warmup. During the warmup we had a 11.5GB/s score which wasn't perfect, so we could've challenged for a win in the Mem Read competition. Then things started going worse and eventually just before 3DM01 we fried the first board. Switched mobos, got another really crappy one that flexed too much for its liking when we installed the pot... We tried using it for the freestyle competition as well, with an E8400 (just for fun), and maxed out at 500FSB while our original QX9650 with the first mobo was just fine at 475. All in all, fun folks, nice meeting you all, special thanks to Zolkorn for his time in Bangkok the days before the competition. Also, big congrats out to elmor/SF3D, even though the latter should realise that if you have a wife you don't do certain things. :D
We returned to Japan today.
Both I and KYOSEN are ... in there being work
We held a trouble in 3D benchmarking.
Therefore the OS crashed, and I changed an HDD once, but even the free-style that I ran out of time held an OS trouble and prepared for four pots of 4870X2 use, but I cannot afford to try it, and it was all could do I put VGA in 3DMARK06 as cooling of the stock, and to have 31266 score.
http://cal930.sakura.ne.jp/cgi-bin/c...3DO6_31226.jpg
But we could share time with all of you and were happy.
I thank for GIGABYTE which offered such an opportunity.
It is the movie which I photographed between competitions.
http://zoome.jp/piko/diary/8/
Congrats Elmor & SF3D also great job to Fugger & Vapor!!!!!!! smasheddddddd those WR's!!!!!!!!:p::cool::D:up::yepp:
Hey guys:welcome:
I just came back from Taipei to Hong Kong at about 5pm...
Since I only slept for 3 hours this morning, I am really exhausted now...
But still, I really want to say that the event was great!
It's nice that I did make a lot of new friends this time and it's really fun to be with you guys!:up::up::clap::clap::clap:
hope to see you all again in the next event!;)
well, see u... I really need some rest:confused2
p.s. congratz to elmor and SF3D and all the other winners!
just woke up after my flight... congrats to elmor and sf3d and the other winners and contestants... it was a nice and fun event... thanks gigabyte and the other sponsors :)
any gigabyte reps around?
good to see u guys! i'm still in taipei and there's a typhoon coming! taipei is expected to be in the worse part of the storm by tomorrow 29 sept at 3am..
the fine mist rain has been ard so i reckon it'd be soon.
T_M is still around. any other guys? :)
anyway congrats to all the winners! excellent job!
we cant forget to thank hicookie too for his help!
and u guys gotta check out this issue of the overclocker. i think its gonna be awesome!
thanks everyone and it was nice meeting u all. i think the most memorable was in the clubs and pubs huh! especially for those of us who went together. awesome! it was nice to be able to translate for u guys. :) take care all!
All I can say is Room 18 <3
Awesome event! Huge accolades need to be bestowed on Gigabyte for what has undoubtably been the best (and biggest) event of its kind ever.
Also still in Taipei and starting to struggle to operate on 13 hours sleep since Tuesday.
Congratulations to the winners SF3D & Elmor, Boblemagnifique & Pt1t for the very good fifth place (France team powaa :D) and all participants!
Flight being delayed due to Typhoon, so im here till monday now.
Its dissapointing to hear that the Germans pulled out because they did not recieve free hardware prior to the competition. No other team that I am aware of did and they did not cancel...
what hardware? There was no hardware being handed out before the competition
i was told that they said to gigabyte that No_name was sick or something so they both decided to pull out
what a letdown from German team
 i think you mixed me up with Pt1t :D......don't bend over in front of Thomas unless you want to lose virginity heh
Hey Vapor are you feeling better man????? hehehehehe
i just realised i haven't met Victor Wang ..... damnnn
next time i guess heh
We're here till Monday as well. :( Was looking forward to heading back home.
Really good to see you all again guys
Had a really good time with all at the event. The competition didnt go very well for us unfortunately, but I felt we did OK at the party :p:
As usual everyone was amazingly freindly & helpful throughout & I am always amazed at how so many cultures can get together & get past language barries & have a good time.
Gigabyte really out did themselves here, we where well looked after at all times - thanks to all of them :)
Congrats again to all the winners
Left the hotel at 10:30AM this morning and I'm now back in Montreal 26 hours later :D
I didn't get a chance to properly say bye to most of you, but I suspect that some of you were still not back from the late night/early morning festivities
Assuming I wake up tomorrow, I'll try to finish a mega-article (~140 images) chronicling the competition day.
Anyways, I'd love to post something insightful, but my mind is foggier than an HK take-off, so I'm just going to say that it was a pleasure meeting all of you and let's do it again sooner than later
Also, of course, http://pages.infinit.net/macmac/icons/beer.gif to Gigabyte for organizing this one of a kind event.
Congratulations to the winners SF3D & Elmor!!!
And extra-congratulations to Russians Heroes DeDaL and NeoForce!!! :D
I arrived in Sweden about an hour ago after the flight back home.
Thank you to everyone here for all the congratulations and thank you everyone at the event for an awesome trip! Overclockers sure know how to party eh? :D
Special thanks to Gigabyte also for the event!
Wow!! what a trip.
Congratulations to the winners, and everyone else that took part.
Big thanks to Gigabyte for putting on such a well run event, You all need to pat yourselves on the back for a job well done :clap:
It was also great to meet soo many of my online friends, and make some new ones. Look forward to seeing you all again at some point down the road :yepp:
Congrats to all of the participants.
Winning is nice but the friendships you'll carry with you long after the memory of who won is forgotten.
What a fantastic event. You couldn't find a better host than Gigabyte, simply the best of everything while in Taipei.
*EDIT*
hipro, I hope your wife is feeling better now.
I'll echo the same sentiments as everyone else: excellent, EXCELLENT job by Gigabyte with this event and the days there aside from the event. Everything was 100% top shelf and planned perfectly.
It was great putting a LOT of faces to names at this event...can't wait for the next one :)
If you guys are stuck there for another day or 2 with nothing to do, I'd check that room and see if any tanks are left :D If not, Collin says there's always LN2 on tap at Gigabyte HQ
same here, I'm trying to find u but there's too many people there.
there will be chances next time
hope next time we will have better luck, at least let me get my luggage for a smooth benching, haha
to win or lose the competetion is not a prob, see all those best overclkers getogether are more exciting.
hey Victor
yeah man you are right....there was so much going on hey....i haven't really had a chance to sit down and have a chat with a lot of ppl to be honest but i get a feeling that companies like Gigabyte are looking to make this a regular calender event so i'm sure it won't be long before we do this again.
Next time i will change some things >> maybe visit the temple like TeamUSA prior to the event first :D:D:D
just be careful of DJ Colin's choice of benching music :D
you guys should defo' go to do some benching at Gigabyte HQ.....that should be sweet :up::up:
Hi
our flight canceled today because of the Typhoon so we change our flights for tomorrow 29th sep. the wind is very strong and shakes the windows now in the beauty hotel. agreed to the other guys, thanks to gigabyte stuff for arranging all the things very good even our food in the hotel room now,
which team is here in hotel beauty now ? we are alone ?
Thanks for the thoughts M8.... She hurts a lot cuz we had a gynaecological surgery on Friday..... :(
We will find out after the biopsy if the things that they pulled out of her were "good" or "bad"...... :(
Congrats to the winners...... :) They worth it.... ;) :)
I just arrived in sweden after something like 18hours :)
I most say it was an awesome event and we had lots of fun.
The guys that left on saturday evening was kinda lucky to miss the typhoon;)
Good job to all the overclockers that was on this event and a real good job done to Gigabyte for making this possible:clap:
btw. dont drink absint on a overclocker party, its not good for your health. I cant remember a god damn thing after that drink :p:
I hope to see you all at the next event!
hey where are you guys ? I asked reception about you in room 703 but he said there is no one in this room !
where is Roumai hotel ? we have some thing for drink and eat like beer or pineapple that can share with you too :D just call us in room 2506 in beauty hotel and tell me how we can meet you guys.
Hello All !!
Finally returned !!! although it was very wrong start , my car was blocked at the airport, my credit card was blocked, I waited 1 hour to find another card to pay and leave  (a Sunday at 7am , it's difficult for found :( )
Although I almost fall asleep more on the highway, I'm still alive and at home :D
I wish to thank the staff of Gigabyte Taiwan and everyone in the organization, this has been very professional with a warm welcome :up:
I wish to excuse to all participants, I stayed in my corner  and not tell you, my English level is very, very bad (I get to write a little but talk, I panic too much and I lose my words) , I need work my vocabulary and my relationship to make me understand and you understand (each person has a different emphasis, I admit that I can understand that some words in sentences !!!)
I isn't an excuse, other than my lack of courage to learn to speak English !!! but sincerely, these events really motivates me to improve my English to discover people who have other cultures, other backgrounds, lifestyles with whom we have one thing in common: a passion for Overclocking !!!
I hope you understand the meaning of what I wanted to say (not win with my English  ) there than me who is guilty!
I sincerely hope to discuss with you all benefit, sharing knowledge in the future in other competitions !!!
Thank you again all , congratulations to all of the first to last, this contest was difficult (time benchs was short , we hadn't tested the equipment before), I hope to see you very soon
BOB (Aurélien)
I have a sneaky suspicion we are in a different beauty hotel. You just phoned and Neo thought you were in this hotel. We only have 10 floors and you're on the 25th of yours. Maybe ask reception which one you're at? There are 4 in Taipei it seems. We're at the one that TraX mentioned.
congrats to the winners, and all participants, i hope to be there next year with you guys :)
good to see the nice event, pictures, smily faces, ln2 smoking like always
hey Bob
i had no problems understanding your english
hey your dancing was even better hehehe :D

http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/2329/dsc00291jb2.jpg

hey Dinos22 !do u have more pics???
I've got the perfect picture to sum up mine and Ekberg's results in the actual competition. To the rescue, ladies and gentlemen, Trouffman's arse:
http://bandwidth.se/imgs/nouser/trouffass52350e85.jpg
With a half a Dino enjoying it at the right hand side of the pic. ;)
I herd that the big typhoon are coming in taipei ..
did any of you still in taipei ?
...
i was back home safely
Come on Dino, show us your "secret weapon" :p
Look forward to see the pic with Trouffman and "Zolkorn's Car":ROTF:
we were standing in front of the smoke room there and the guy having a puff inside almost swallowed the cigarette when he say him drop the pants
we did a video too in the airport hahahah
Firstly, big thanks to Gigabyte and especially Hicookie who basically made the whole event what it was!
Guys, it appears that many peoples photos have been lost in the Typhoon ;)
(Remember to be sensible for everyone's sake...)
hey there Jasmine, good to see you here :D
Nice photos on your Facebook i saw, can you send me the ones im in? I dont have an account.... can you send them to my email address from MSN?
You title certainly is spot on, smokin!

And the rest are censored ;)
After the event was all over, i moved on to my favourite Taiwanese hotel The Lake down at Xindian.
I was all pumped up to party more but alas the wrath of god struck and so i spent most of my time staring out the window at rain and wind :(
Once again i met some great new overclocking friends who i am sure to stay in touch with.
It's not me having an obsession with showing my ass to everybody, I'm just ready with the camera when it happens. :D
Everybody missed Sampsa mooning though. Trouffman (I think it was) was filming, but stopped just as Sampsa dropped his pants.
The short clip of Trouffman on the conveyor belt has to be uploaded somewhere though, it was a really good one.
Oh and here's another funny one.
I wonder what "consumption" is refering to ;)
