I'm saying they represent something else. We all know 939 and AM2 have completely different mem controllers, but we have 'BV' and 'BY' on both platformsQuote:

I suggest you search Ebay. There are some good stepping oem ones at the moment.Quote:

Ok guys, I just got my internet at my new place. Here is where I am so far. 1.475V @ 2.95ghz, not too shabby. :) 3ghz is priming right now, hopefully this screen shot is everything I need to be added to the list.
may eBay burn in hellQuote:

Its a CCB1E 0606VPMW. It seems to not want to play nice at 3Ghz so its to the burn in procedure again. Burn in got me from 2.8ghz to 2.95ghz, lets see what it will do for me now.
which is the newer core the Toledo or Denmark?
They don't do Toledo Opterons, that's just an error on cpu-z.
They're all Denmarks.
oh ok thanx
Hi there m8, I dont suppose you could tell me what you do for your 'burn in procedure ' please. I take it you use the cpu burn-in utility and let that run for a few hours or so? Do you run it at the speed , ie 3Ghz which is not prime stable yet, or do you run it slightly below with less volts perhaps?Quote:

toledo = denmarkQuote:

Run windows memtest for 30-60minutes to be sure the memory is fine.
*EDIT* It seems my proc is very responsive to burnin. Last night it would fail dual prime in 10 seconds with 1.47V @ 3Ghz, today it is currently at 5 minutes and still dual priming!!! :) So far, burnin has given me ~200 mhz, this is just insane.
*EDIT2* It just failed after 6 minutes but there is a definite improvement! Time for another session.
I've had four CCBBE 0610's and only one would run around 2880 on only 1.375v Prime stable for any long period of time. It normally requires 1.4v or more to get over 2.8GHz Prime stable.Quote:

nice!Quote:

You must of gotten all the cream of the crop then because most all the 0610's i've seen on hardforum and dfi-street have done between 2700 and 2750 on stock voltage Prime stable. 2.8GHz normally required a bump to 1.4v. Of course thats for like 8h+ Prime stable and not 30 mins :p. A few long burn-ins may help getting a little higher on stock voltage though but i dont see 2850MHz ever being the average for 1.35v on a 0610.Quote:

Voltage sensors on motherboards are rarely ever accurate because motherboard manufacturers dont use good ones. Thats why you have to buy a DMM and test yourself.
