Sounds like thermal throttling.
its disabled, cool&quiet too.. also I got Oscar´s 10/5 Beta bios..
ddr@200fsb 2-2-2-5 1T..
@Loque
Clock the hell out of that RAM and CPU man. It has got it in her.
The RAM will do 2-2-2-5-1T all the way up to 220FSb with 2 sticks in.
After that you will have to use CL 2.5
Also just go ahead and run v2.9 to the RAM and put your chipset at v1.8. It shouldn't run too hot. Mine runs very cold for it only having the stock cooler.
my nF3 is so hot, it lowered my gpu and memory ocs. so i put on a blue zalman hs and i still cant oc my card as far.
GOOD NEWS: ran memtest all last night, did 21 full loops and only got 6 errors!
i think that modding my vsense and bumping vdimm will eliminate those errors am i right?
i had to put Tref down to 4196 and lost a bit of unbuffered, but i want it stable most of all and cpu speed can make up for the loss :D
I got alittle more out of my DFI, CPU, and RAM tonight.
I finally hit 275x8.0 with 1:1
I posted a picture..

I want to see if I can tweak the timings alittle...what do you guys think it should handle? 2.5-4-3-10? I'll give that one a try.
missed your reply ... yeah partly due to my 2-2-2-6 timings and the max async latency being tighterQuote:

Now this is what can do with a Corsair TWINX XL (TCCD) borrowed from my friend.

ahfung please resize or save image in another format i.e. jpg at 70% quality! it's take ages to load your image even on my 1500K ADSL!
His image loaded for me quickly..but why the B&W?
B&W gif is the smaller in size than jpeg. For you info it's only 85KB.Quote:

I can never get my tccd to run 300 1:1 with 2.5-3-3 =(
280 is max..over that and computer dies after a while.
Can you post settings for that ?
you must be using 1 or 2 sticks of 256. no way those awesome results could happen in a 1gig rig :D
Wrong and right :cool:Quote:

Will do that when I'm home again.Quote:

yeh i disabled fastwrites casue i got awful dx9 performance, but yeah ^^^?
on my kv8 415 was fine, but now 410 is what i can do and that cuases probs in far cry,
luckily D3 is openGL and runs sweeeet!
anyway ill try disabling it thanks
EDIT
forgot to say, did another all nighter memtest and got 4 errors in 9 hours 30 mins or 28 full loops!
i reckon one more and it will be error free!
After nearly 60 pages i have to repeat a question which is very important for some of us.
I have this DFI Board too and my investigations are that there is a performance difference @ stockspeed between the DFI and other Mobos but it dont lies in the Memory Bandwith as it seems.
So what is to say?
Is it possible for DFI to achieve a higher performance with upcoming bios releases or will it always be neccesary to reach acceptable results only by tweaking the DFI?
Whats the matter is it the memory interleaving some of u guys already talking about?
What do u guys think?
maybe DFI bios update could have 2 speed/performance presets like standard and turbo too ?
wooo hooo!
10 hrs 50 mins, 32 full loops and not a single error!!!!!
also got a new 3000+ for free today so gonna try out its ocing ability. i bet it was the iss not making good contact with core.
Really hard to say. I bet a big part of it is, they must have taken their time with the power management layout, and did a great job. Now, if only they'd change the vcore to all easy to understand values, and fix the double-save & exit thing, it'd be perfect. :D I've written down most all of the vcore voltages now, but figuring it out in the beginning is a bit tricky. ;)Quote:
