unstoppable, why FuZion is 90deg "wrong"?
I just finished my first loop yesterday. Now I can see why some of you guys are crazy for water cooling. My rig is now quieter than ever before, and with better temps.
Well I'm running a MCP655, a MCW60, a D-Tek Fuzion, a MCR320 with medium yates, 7/16in Masterkleer, and a 5/8in OD Tee.

Nice rigs
Wow and endless stream of LC goodness. Nice work on your first build there Carholmes.
I like the top enclosure!
What case is it?
LianLi PC7 SE II
I love that mod. That's one of my favorite Lian Li cases.
im seeing more and more swiftech fuzion blocks being mounted wrong way, does it make much difference?, i have mine on a e6600 clocked it down from 3.6ghz to 3ghz was on for 6hrs and idle temp didnt go over 20c
That 1st pic looks unreal with the PC in sharp focus and the background not. I guess it has been edited, but it does look cool
edit: 100 up
lol.... you live in the arctic? 20°C is normal room temperature xD
Whats wrong mounted? It's the new revision, so no clips, they "downgraded" their equipment, delivered with the heatsink...
@aoe
right, its edited with photoshop, so u dont see my messed up room ^^
i live in the uk, i meant the inlet and outlet look wrong way on most pictures
mh its working well, i didn't care if there's a difference between in and outlet, because both look the same, i took a look inside and saw no difference.

@Sargatanas
Is richtig ;)
We got some really nice watercooling stuff here in germany, so its normal that you see special equipment on some pictures :)
btw:
has any1 an idea where I might get a sb/crosslinx cooler for my Asus Maximus Xtreme?

EDIT: Wow just saw, that on the first 2 pic's it looks like the fans are turned off, but the are doing 600RPM.
Very nice spuggi. Damn.
Nice one, Nullface.
Not a fan of Aquacomputer stuff. It's made of fail. Looks great though.
Just my opinion.
I had posted earlier (less intense) work done to this case at another forum as "Mister Crowley", but this was the last setup of this green mass I did. I eventually sold this machine to a friend of mine at a decent profit.
Unfortunately as can be seen in the last picture, the peltier was taken off the 8800gtx video card after building was complete, due to unsatisfactory temps, although the voltmod allowed me to overclock it over 750mhz. I used to regularly pelt-cool my video cards when video cards weren't quite so radiant.

This is the machine I am using right now. The lid and side panel would not fit on it due to the pci-e power connectors, so who needs em anyway... Now that I use a desk vs a coffee table, I have alot more work room that I decided to allocate to my machine ;) This was a work in progress that was actually totally air-cooled for a long time, even though I had all of the parts. I got a great deal on the radiators when they went on sale, but I should have suspected they would not include barbs.

Two-inch machine screws with pieces of tube make nice little legs for the radiators.

i take it you like acrylic cases :D
very nice though
have you thought about building you own case out of acrylic
Been lurking around here and getting some good idea's so i thought i would take the plunge.

What kind of threading is beind used by Aquacomputer waterblocks ?
@ rbsmontemor,
You know you're little fan on the mosfets heatpipe cooler is turned the wrong way? It has to blow the air to the rear fan so can can suck the hot air away from your mobo.... ;)
in this pic: http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/4...3adrenall4.jpg
just helping m8
hmm... looks right to me. If that's a blower fan like I think it is, then the fan portion sucks in and in this case, blows air into the mosfets.
so the fan is pointing the correct way when looking at airflow in the case.
Otherwise, it would be fighting against the more powerful 120mm fan
That wimpy noisy Asus mosfet fan has to go. Mine get tossed into the trash from day one lol Find a Zalman bracket or some other contraption. Strap on a silent 120mm fan. You will get a ton more airflow and it will save your sanity. You can also use an Antec Spotcool (set on medium), but I think that looks questionable.
Or you just set them to 30-40% of their rpm's, I can tell you that doesn't make noise at all...everything is watercooled and passive cooled and the only thing I hear sometimes is a waterbubble...And secondly an 120mm fan is freaking ugly in a wonderful setup...I put almost all my cash in my pc (the rest of the time I'm drunk ;) ) and the last thing I want is an ugly case full with air cooled garbage...The same as cooling your ram with an 120mm fan, it's just nonsense...I'm running it 160mhz more than stock with tight timings, just buy reasonable RAM, and an intake fan at 500rpm and an outtake fan at 500rpm and a zalman600hp which doesn't make noise even not if you want to.
A fan over your ram nonsense huh? Untill you push it mate, untill you push it.
nice case hein sasa... muito maneiro
Hey guys, com'on. This is an international site. I'm brazilian too, and it not even a glimpse in my mind to write in any language that's not so widelly spread as english. Please, keep in mind that this kind of stuff will only make everybody hates us a bit more at every single post.
Anyway, TRULLY beautifull wcs on page 235. :)
Thanks! But you really need to write in English here :)
I'll try later! What do you think about Thermaright's mosfet cooling?
Ballistix Tracer gets REALLY HOT, even @ 1.8v...
Hello buddy :) Thanks for the words, but portuguese isn't the best way to talk over there
Yeah that's true  English please :D
Rbs.
Naturalmente, nós falamos o inglês aqui.
If you think I wrote that Portugese, I have a few bridges to sell you :)
Thermalright's mosfet blocks look sexy, as do all their heatsinks, but then they still need darn airflow. So, its all the same thing.
nice case sassa, mine is running right now, need a few tweaks but it is done.

@leo_bsb
Thanks! Your rig is nice too :)
How about the full load temps?? :)

that's what I said, If you just buy reasonable ram and place your fans right it wouldn't be a problem 160mhz over stock with OCZ's reapers worked fine with me on really tight timings, But I must agree ballistx tracers get hot fast enough and they are good clockers. I was planning to buy a pair of these but I don't want that christmas lamps in my computer and I think OCZ's reapers are much more beatiful. And I must say I was stunned about their abbilities  I thought they wouldn't hold their timings tight when you push is far over, but now I really don't want other sticks...
But Generally you're right :)
I just want too say that I am glad the petty-ass whiners have either been banned or deleted or left this thread. They had nothing to add but hate.
Thanks Mods :)
Loving the latest works.
Don't want to trash this thread too much but a last word about the mem, if you don't want these x-mas tree leds, just buy ballistix instead of tracers, same ram but without the leds.
As for a fan over the ram, the Dominator ram-cooler without the stickers or the OCZ xtc cooler aren't that ugly. ;)
But the reapers without any fans ovr it or something identical are a lust for the eye too :D (i think)
but generally fans are just a wast of silence in my room :) your mem isn't going to burn out if you don't put a fun on it...Never happened to me? and believe me I wasted much hardware.....
nice case leo, so clean.!!!

leo_bsb you could get the slight benefits of dual channel ram if you move one stick to the right :)
thanks, I noticed that in the first screen of BIOS post and moved that stick.
Now why did you have to go and drag that up? If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trolling for a fight. ;) AFAIK, most of the ppl that objected to your using this thread as a work log are still around. The thread title does say "case gallery" (not "how I built a pump mount") after all.
I do agree with you about many of the latest rigs posted being very very good, I just don't feel the need to stroke everyone.
