all the p5k premium bios are the same number ??
they just change the letter

g3303
t3303 ?
Bios 102 and 204 mate, just use everything off the cd you will be fine as far as drivers go...
You were lucky. Many others have ended up with a toasted mobo when asus update errors out.
so 0204 is the latest ? its dated back from june ?
does anyone know how i can use a usb keyboard in the bios with this motherboard ???/
No problem, just plug it in. Be sure that it is in a port off the motherboard and not a hub port.
Clock over-charging mode. Has anyone tried manual settings with this? What does it do?
Thanks.

mm Kindda puzzled by your reply, to clarify : at the moment the Q6600 runs at 3200mhz on my P5K DLX with 8 x 400, if I bench or start gaming I go to 9 x 400 which till now is a no go on my Striker (400FSB is a no boot, prolly FSB hole) , 425FSB works on the Striker but it's so hard to get stable and I need to set max CPU VTT too to get it stable and I'm not into max pushing...as I want to have fun but also want some reliability although this is Extreme forums... ;)
Just got new P5k-Delux, other blew up. New mobo, same kit and shipping BIOS, flashed to 503, can only do 450 die in windows at 460, bios wont do past 450...
Any ideas
A few runs with the P5K Deluxe and Q6600. Seems a pretty decent board for Quads so far.:)

Finally my account was verified....hi...
A week or so ago I rebooted and my PC didn't come back up, crashed on loading windows. Tried a few times and it still happened, set everything to default in BIOS and then it would not even post. Cleared the RTC RAM and tried both sticks on their own, still wouldn't post.
I figured my RAM had died so ordered some Ballistix PC-6400 to tide me over the RMA process. When it arrived I booted with 1 stick of the Ballistix and set the bios to DDR-800. Then I put both sticks of my supposedly dead RAM in and tried again...and they worked fine. Used the PC for the rest of the day with no problems.
After leaving my PC up for a few days and being away, when I got back and rebooted my PC it did the same again. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong / how I can stop it happening? Is it something to do with the board and incompatibility with the OCZ Reaper PC-8500 RAM? Or just faulty memory? (i'm using bios 0311). I've used the PC for over a month before this happened.
Also a little OT...if the OCZ turns out to be fine, am I stuck with the Ballistix? I've had it longer than 7 days now, but I ordered a 2x1GB kit, but they sent 2 1GB sticks instead (BL12864AA804). Is that grounds for me returning the RAM? I really don't want 2 sets of memory if I can help it, I've only opened one stick.
Im using OCZ pc8500 reapers. They work wonderfully on my Asus p5kdeluxe
I am having nothing but problems with my board.
On POST i get no video, I have to try for 30 min straight rebooting until it finally picks up my video card.
What a joke.
i had that no video problem with my p5b-dlx,turns out one of my sticks of ram was dodgy.
no problems with the premium and new ram,got my 6750 to 4ghz :D
A few runs with the P5K-E and X3210 / QX6700

max stable FSB with QX6700 @ def. NB voltage (i think it is maximum of CPU!)

I was running them at 2.3v which is the recommended minimum.
I found some other references to the same problem as mine: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=160082 and http://forum.pcstats.com/showpost.ph...7&postcount=86
Noone else has had this problem? I guess i will test both sticks for errors when I get some free time to double check they are actually OK.
New BIOS (0505) on the Asus ftp site. At least I think it's new.:) I downloaded it, but have not flashed yet.
