this night my sandiego show me his love (again).... :D that is a real 3700+ :D
http://bastel-gianni.ripping.org/ove...rpi_22.218.jpg
Wow!!!
Over 3.7Ghz @ +9°C it's unbelivable!
Congratz!!!
Try it under DICE plz!!!:)
DICE is overkill! allready tested!... the cpu works best with ~9°C....
hehe np, thanks :)
great result. like always bro :D :toast:
Thats impressive, you must have the best sandy 3700+ ever made
hehe i have the two best :D
one is this 3721mhz superpi-monster the other the 3871mhz cpu-z-bomb :D
the third (3771mhz cpu-z) i've killed at prime@1.8v :D
absolutely final 32M score... 8th fastest AMD 32M run ever!! :)

btw: :D

congratz, :toast:
that 3700+ is really flying
So many chips:D Now go for 7th position in AMD 32M records;)
it's defenetly impossible (with that chip)! :( more vcore an lower temps doesn't help. may be i'll should test the cpu on my other DFI...
Congrats on your time. That is really something.
Congrats my friend ,,,, really nice work
3.7ghz on an AMD chip?
Oh dear, that is indeed some insane stuff. :D Good work!
now: board changed, next try :D maybe the non-fx wr will fall :)
ok, more mhz => mission impossible... i've tried everything.... bad luck... :(
Is it still mine which have the WR gianni? :D
http://starostise.free.fr/overclocki...valid_3892.PNG
yes :( do you really not selling your chip?
hey gianni, nice clocks! The BH5 Rams need a better cooling unit (LN2, DryIce).
Ha I remember my 4000+ Sandy barely being able to 2.8ghz haha
When are you testing the 3200+ :D
gianni, take my 4000+ and you will go to no. 6 in 32 M :D
Your 3700+ ist really heavy !!!! Nice !
But first you should try to get your 4000+ over 3,8 ghz
I didn't know people are still using this old tech :P
Nice clocks. Didn't think a 3700+ could clock that high with relatively high temps. I wonder how high they would go, if the coldbug was at -140C. Too bad AMD is not going to get rid of SOI any time soon :/
Everytime this thread comes up i look at it, its insane  My mates chip wont break 3.1 no matter what we throw at it. Awesome :)
i hope this weekend... it sould be shipped from germany this week. for next weekend i have ordered 20kg DICE. :)
yes, with your 4000+ that shouldn't be a problem. come to switzerland and we bench together.
btw: http://www.ripping.org/database.php?...e2=stunned_guy
That's a cool feature Ripping.org has :D
Got owned heavily ... :p
http://www.ripping.org/database.php?...rname2=massman
haha intel crap :D i've coded this feature specialy to show stunned_guy who is the real mr. san diego :D
You can call yourself mister A64 ^^
i will, when i've cracked the overall wr :D

oh dear god thats one impressive list my friend..
and thats not the end :D
Oh my god ... :slobber:
I hope you don't have all these chips laying on your desk :p
The question is, how many chips of that list were able to swallow the touch of LN2 :D
impressive ... gianni-gt :D impressive list ;)
Your list is really big but show in this link:
http://www.nethands.de/pys/show.php?id=38051#benchmark
and its not the end i`m also searching the big one like gianni but its very hard.
someone in germany have another one 3700+ 0614 BPMW but i don´t think that this cpu will comes to me or gianni :(
and he kill every second cpu :D
Yes thats true some cpus won´t be so good like i will :(
Next finish will be the 100 :D
100 cpu to test or killed? :D
Hehe, good question, I think it will be the 100 testet not killing :D
cpu #41 just arrived... same stepping as my wr 3700+ and what a batch!! :)
http://octs.ripping.org/3200_0614bpmw.jpg
goes also under dice at saturday...
That's the one we were waiting for :D
Muahaha, i like the "@ Gianni GT" on the cpu :D
i hope you crack the old WR, good luck ;)
special produced for me :D thanks to amd :p:
too bad, today i've recognized, that my 32m run was only #9 not #8 :(
tomorrow: 20kg DICE, 4 amd cpus, 8 intel cpus => lot of fun :D
O god ... run a laptop next to your bench setup and mail me every single result :D:D
Hope you have lots and lots of fun/WR ;)
hehe check :D
a guy from our team have sent me a full c2d setup  he want to convert me to dark side :lol2:
two new wr's for me :D

suicide at 3805MHz: http://www.bastel-gianni.ch/overcloc...1apmw_3805.jpg
the 3800+ needs more coldness!
The 3200+ WR is great, stephen is no more and history ! Great job gianni ;) But you don´t have an validation about 3,8 MHz :D....
Stephen's didn't have a coldbug (E3)
Gianni, you might want to check out this thread (quite old though): http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...highlight=3200
E3 does not mean coldbug-less. a stepping of XXBHX denoted no coldbug for the most part.
giannis chips being E6's means they are actually a 1/2 cored 1/2 cached dual core 2x1mb caches cpu.
hehe i'm sure he tought no one crack his wr :D
my cpu was bugged at 360mhz @ -40°C
great Wrs gianni :toast:
project "cracking the overall amd world record" started ;) i'll try it with an opteron 156 :)
What stepping is that 3200+? CABXE 0602xPMW?
Edit: CABXE 0614BPMW lol. I'm getting a CABXE 0602, that's why I asked. Oh well, I think your week is better than mine (dammit).
WHy does your chip show up as a Venice, btw? I have a CABGE 0602, which shows up as a San Diego (CPUZ 1.40.5). Both are San Diegos lol :D (CABxE)
Hehehehehehe, I was on holiday when that 156 ended. My damn 85 year old grandparents have no internet so I had no chance lol. Well, congrats with a nice CPU:D The cash you paid for that one... 100% insanity lol;) But hey! This is XS:yepp:
You can get brand new 156's for ~$300 in the US btw. Not sure if those stores ship abroad, but I googled around and found quite a few with those in stock. They probably use the same warehouse (all had 37 in stock), and no-one could tell me what stepping I could get:D
This is just an amazing 3.8 system.
You definitely have the golden one, keep it in a safe place.
Metroid.
hehe yes i'm really insane! ;) but 0617TPMW is a real good stepping, so i hope the best...
and yes in theorie these CABYE & CABXE cpus are relabled "sandiego"-cores watch the photos:
3800+ venice:
http://octs.ripping.org/3800_apmw_no_hs.jpg
4000+ sandiego:
http://octs.ripping.org/apmw_wo_hs.jpg
but hey, if amd say it's a venice, then it's a venice :D
btw: do you try to hunting my wr's?
Well, I try to beat your (and every other s754/s939) WR's. Unfortunately, I have a few problems:
*Not too much money:D
*No exotic cooling:mad:
*My German friend, who I ship to when buying from German people, needs 100 years to send me stuff. He must have like 50 CPUs in his bedroom now:D
*Your WR's are kinda s!ck, need luck + skill + cooling + + + +
Just so you know, Gianni-GT the overall AMD WR is also being chased by a few of us with 6400+ ;)
Don't relax! :D , but nonetheless it's amazing how good these old single cores were.. damn the now unaviodable cold bug!
I'll get a 3700+ WR very soon.
Haven't tested it yet, but I KNOW it's a WR chip.
Reason: 3700+ Newcastle :D
ADA3700DEP4AW
RABPC 0352MPM
RFBBIX8A40018
(s939 ^^)
gianni, you know anything about this one? PS: add it to the ripping.org database;)
Crap! I hope my boards are a bit "better" than yours:p:
But seriously, this is the only 3700+ newcastle I've ever seen. it's not in the ripping database, nor in the hwbot database.
Damn, I hope I don't have to get some ASUS crap just to play with this one.
Oh well, I'll try it on my Venus as well as my friend's. if it doesn't work... then I guess it doesn't. I wonder what kind of info CPUZ will show...
hehe yes... it's also not in the amd.com compare cpu database :D but there is also no otpi 156 listed :D
btw: i've found a thread at google about a 3700+ newcastle http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=928714
There are no 3700+ newcastle for socket 939, for socket 754 only...
if there is one, it don´t goes well on a dfi motherboard, i tested some 3400+ socket 939 newcastle and they all didn´t start. these processors came from oem -pc and only works on asrock or other oem-boards but no dfi !!!
I tried it yesterday. And it even WORKED!!! On a DFI Venus...
CPUZ said 3700+ NewCastle:D. Wonder what's the difference between this one and 3800+ Newcastles... Didn't OC very great, either, but OK for a Newcastle I guess.
The benching rig is in the garage (no internet etc etc, writing this some other PC), so I can't post pics etc atm, but I will later;)
My cvf files were corrupt for some stupid reason, so all I have is a spi1m screenie, with CPUZ tabs. Image attached.
hehe very cool... a 3700+ newcastle! what was the default-clock again? then i'll add it to ripping.org
ok added to our database...
as i can see there is not one difference between these cpu's... really funny..
The 3800+ has 2,4 Ghz at default and hypertransport 1000 Mhz and 512 kb L2 Cache.
The 3700+ Newcastle is an OEM-CPU and has also 2,4 Ghz, but only 800 Mhz hypertransport and 512 kb L2 Cache.
The hypertransport is the only differenc...
Thats also with the 3400+/3500+.
This 3700+ Newcastle is an amazing CPU, I will try to get this one also to buy but where ? ebay only i think.
Your Vcore is really high...the deafult vcore is around 1,5 volts and you has around 1,7 volts for only 200 mhz higher ? ^^
New AMD Athlon64 3000+ Venice World Record !!!!!!
3657,87 MHz @ 9x406,43 @ 1,872 Volt
That is an amazing cpu...and Prime will be also high I think.
absolut overkill!! highest %-oc ever reached with an A64 chip... +103.215%... it's absolutly amazing! good work buddy... 90% prime? :D
We didn't really OC it too much, just for fun I tried 3g @ 1.7v lol. Didn't work (shocking, huh? ^^). Next I did was just 260x10. Temps weren't that bad so I just left the voltage where it was.
Don't know if BP mem controller is very great, either. Maybe it has no coldbug:D
I got it off ebay, yes. Looked like a stock photo but I just gave it a shot. Think I paid $30 for it lol. Nice price for a GUARANTEED WR;)
Thanks gianni ;)
That chip is great...today i will try maximum HTT, it should be around 420 to 430 mhz i think.
prime should be also good....3,3 ghz should be possible.
extacy had one 3000+ @ around 3,4 ghz prime...that is my finish ;)
I have the same chip...........3GHZ at 1.5V
with a Gigbyte K8N Pro SLi
.........feeling the need to go subzero though
Looks like 0602 is a good week, then;)
I have a 3200+ CABGE 0602APMW. I think I got it to 2.9 stable, on water. Which is pretty good for a BG chip i think:)
SingleStage built by iceman, the same than mine :D
massman you can add this stepping to your watch-list :D
btw: wr no. 10 for the sandiego-brothers :D 11 & 12 soon with opti 152 & 156 :p:
Which watch list do you mean, gianni ?
@ massman
Stepping is NBBWE 0602 APAW.
congratz to the great result, really awesome :toast:
Thank you....
This is an endless friendly battle between gianni and me, our next project is getting all athlon64 singlecore world records :D The San Diego Bros are everywhere :D
one day i have to come to germany and we clock together. world record party. :D
LOL, damn you stunned_guy, you steal all my CPUs:D
I refreshed the stuff I was watching, and 3 of them had YOU as high bidder!!
Well, you missed a KAB1E 0631APMW 2 weeks ago, hope I get it soon. I'll ROFL for a week if that one is golden.:D
And good luck on the A64 WR's. Please tell us if you find another 3700+ Newcastle;)
Damn I wish I had the cash to continue this madness. I can only spend like $500 per month from now on, and I spend alot of cash on dual cores, too:shakes: I need some nice cooling as well, got 3 WR's on water + ice cubes in the res, and I don't think I'll get many more without reducing my CPU budget *sigh* (apart from the 3700+ NC, and Sempron 3200+ Winchester - only 1 entry on ripping so far:p: ) so I can afford a Vapo or something like that.
@bruce: could you tell me the last of the three lines (on the cpu) of your 0631APMW?
