Would removing the stickers help to cool the ram down a bit?
The paper stickers/labels on the ICs? I can't see them trapping much, if any, heat so I doubt there would be any difference in temps. If you're worried about heat, add a fan to blow over the modules.
Is there a consensus on these as far as heat generated? Hipro5 stated that the ones he tested ran cooler than bh-5, but I can't remember what others have reported. How about some comments on temps...even if it is just how they feel to the touch, cool, warm, hot, or on fire? Of course this will vary with the amount of voltage they are being fed, so how about including that in any comments you make on temps.
they only feel warm to touch on mine, the BH6 i ran was HOT to the touch.
same volts same settings.
my CH-5 run cold no matter what.
mine run slightly warm to the touch with 3.3v (max of board), temp probe never goes above 30-35'C when held against it, this is without any fans purposely placed to cool the ram
If anyone is tested I will get my Temp probe out and check, but its a bit of messing about
DITO!! 260mhz max timings 3.5v and warm if that to the touch. :)Quote:

yea even with 4.2v...
these dont look like speed premiumsQuote:

I have another set which maxes out at 220 FSB 2-2-2-11 at 3.05 volts (2.9 in bios) Its the same as these sticks but sticks differ even if the same. How much juice did you give yours? Damn I dont have a mobo that supplies much vdimm neither a OCZ booster. I wish I could give them 4 to 4.2 volts to see what I get from them. :devil:Quote:

Everyone seems to keep sending me pm's about my avatar :D
google this: a** of the year 2004
It's the first match ... 92 pics enjoy people! :slobber: :D
On topic: Whats the max FSB people with the speed premium have gotten?
Speed Premium or not, DT's sticks should be great. Notice the 50D marking on the modules.
My SP are barely warm at 3.3, 256 FSB 1:1. No need for any extra air cooling, tried it and it didn't help, not for me anyway.
Just let me know before Monday or Tuesday of next week because that's when I'm planning on sending these out the door. (I still need to do a Vdimm mod on another PC-DL before I test these to 233MHz)Quote:

question for everyone
does 512 modules work nice 1T/CPC ON ?
