Revamped my 939 rig... Pretty old school hardware and not as nice as some of those rigs out there but a trusty workhorse nonetheless... :D

Those are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
WE NEED MORE PICTURES!
sleeving a sata cable... LOL
Good job trough, awesome machine
very nice! with that huge fan on the top and no fan on the back wouldnt the cooler be better pointed to top?
6 big holes on the motherboard tray and you use it to manage 1 cable. It still looks awesome.
Wich PSU is that?
Nice rig, nice pics!
That HAF looks really good, extremely clean. Good job

Great to have some good comments Marco, thanks.

nice looks rigs you all
Sir, do you have a wireless power supply?
No joke that is one of the cleanest rigs I have seen. Nice job on that management there. That's CrAzY nice.
Yeah I know, the cable management skills are crazy:eek: That TT Spedo is ownage in cable management :D NICE JOB:yepp:
Thanks Alot guys! Coming from all of you on this forum is absolutly awesome! im glad all of my hard work actually payed off. and i must say that when im done watercooling, or moving some stuff around, the cable management will be better. :D And i must say, Zip ties ARE my BEST friend!
That wire management looks pretty slick.
How's the Enermax fans? I haven't seen anyone else with them before.
I'm trying to figure out why my Antec 900 looks so :banana::banana::banana:ty.
Could u post some pics?
I only have an old pic (no camera) right now, it looks the same now except for BallistiX that replaced the Samsungs...
http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/884/img3550xe6.png
It's because of all the wires in front of/under your graphics card. 900's aren't very cable-management friendly when they're unmodded, especially when you don't have a modular PSU. Are the three exhaust fans really necessary?
Little update, some cable management in the lower section. Need to get my tripod piece back from my friend.
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...e/IMG_3180.jpg
here its mine :D
Just bought my new xigmatek DK its looks and works really good ;)
nice warlock, its nice to see more spedo's out there, dont think of that in a gay way :D
I just broke a fan blade off one of Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpms :(
I had it on my IFX-14 and the fan wasn't starting up. I restarted a bunch of times and it still didn't start, so I took it off and up it on top of my Antec 1200, i didn't unplug it cause the plug was on the cable management side of my pc and i'm lazy. So I left it plugged in and sat it on top of my case. The when I started the pc back up, guess what the **** fan started this time and it hit the my case and broke a blade off :(
Is it normally for a fan blade to break that easy?
If it's a 3K Ultra Kaze it wouldn't surprise me. The plastic they use for fans is really stiff and brittle. I broke the 200MM fan on my old 900 when I accidentally stuck my thumb into it.
I forgot to mention it was on a fan controller and was running at 1600RPM.
Also my Delta fan hit my case a while ago @ 4600rpm and it only made little chips on 3 blades.
Well different companies, different plastic. Just try to keep things away from the blades :D
Still didn't get my tripod piece back, but w/e.
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...e/IMG_3202.jpg
What fans?
Mine? The two front intake and CPU are low-speed Yates, rear exhaust is a S-Flex 49CFM, and up top I have two Silverstone FN122's. In the lower section I have a 30 CFM Scythe fan that looks like a S-Flex, but has a sleeve bearing. Exhaust is two Thermaltake 80MM fans that I removed the LED's from.
Nice clean rig, you must have a pretty good camera or awesome lighting too cause those pictures came out great.
I've posted this picture before but I have no new ones and I wanna post again :( :p

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...k/IMG_2866.jpg
It's not super quiet, but it's consistent. Most of the noise's from the Arctic fans pushing God knows how much air around. :D The raptor's aren't half as annoying as when I used the old Stacker HDD module though.
2 "Tommy_Hewitt" : new AMD build ???? =)
Nice image tommy but one question
Was there any room inside the case to hide/route the 24pin besides making it in front of image across the side of the 5.25 & 3.25 inch bays?
on a side note:
So how's the GPU cooling round up going for silenthardware.de?

god i need a dang new comp.
When I scroll through these pages I always get jealous like hell. I got a CM Stacker 830, which is a case with great potential. But mine is so :banana::banana::banana:ing ugly.
If you guys should buy a new big tower, around the stacker in size, what would you choose?
Stacker 832 and CM HAF 832 are looking sweet - your ideas?

Those are some nice computers there NaMcO and Da ManiaC, absolutly beautiful!
This has been a long road. I've been trying to build a computer to replace my old 3Ghz HT socket 478 system since the middle of 2007!
I started gathering information on the i7 before the new year, and ordering parts soon after. Everything was at my house in mid February, and it took 2 weeks to get to this point. Several days of that were prep on the case. Don't forget to sand and primer, folks, or else you'll have to start over from scratch (after removing all that flaky old paint)! There's just some detail work left, now. The CFCLs aren't working yet, one works but there is a short in the cable, the other isn't working at all. I have new ones ready to install, but am waiting for the DOA hard disk to get back so I don't have to disassemble twice. I also need to remove and re-lap the TRUE in my quest for 4Ghz 24/7 stable. Plus 2 of the Kaze Master's thermal probes are dead. :(

Current temps are decent, although I think I can get better with a better attempt at lapping than what I have. I have this suspicion that I did it wrong. I'm currently idling at 39,38,40,38 and at full load in Prime95 with 8 threads, 72,72,71,75. Not horrible, but I don't want to raise the voltage for more clocks until I can get it down a wee bit more. I'm running right now at 180BCLK, which gives me 3600Mhz on the CPU, at stock voltage. This is a 24/7 stable temperature with no issues, but 3.8Ghz at stock volts crashes after a few hours of Prime95 and in 3DMark Vantage. I think the CPU is capable of 4Ghz without a huge bump in power. Currently the RAM is at 1440Mhz DDR (720x2). It can do more, it runs great at 1600Mhz, but at 180BCLK the next jump up is more than that. Once I get the CPU stable at either 3.8Ghz or 4.0Ghz, I'll fiddle with the RAM to eek out a little more.
My RAID10 array is degraded, one of the four drives showed up DOA, so I'm hoping to get better performance once the new drive shows up. If not, I may pick up a Perc 5/i and play with RAID5 using 4 drives.
I'd originally planned to make a custom front panel using modders mesh and place two additional 140mm Kaze Maru's on the front panel. This would take up the 5 unused bays, but the first attempt was a dismal failure. It fit worse than the Scythe Kama Bays that are currently installed. I'll try again sometime in the future.
Anyway, now for some hardware pron. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, I was surprised how small the case actually gets once you start installing hardware. It seemed big until things started going in! :ROTF:
http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381269.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381290.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381291.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381292.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381293.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381285.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381277.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381278.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381279.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381280.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381281.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_SL381284.jpg
And a few screen grabs. They are reduced down from 1680x1050, so since they are a little hard to read: 14493 3DMarks in Vantage, GPU score is 11738 and CPU is 48989. Respectable, but not ground breaking in any way. The only tweaking here is the 180Mhz BCLK on the CPU, GPU is stock. The other screenshot has some HDD benchs for my degraded array, and CPUZ shots. The HDD benchmarks are actually worse than they were, I was over 200 sequential read, I think I need to defrag.
http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_Desktop0.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...h_Desktop1.jpg
Now I just need to man up and cut the side panel for the window...
Might think about putting some higher volume fans on your cpu cooler if you want to drop temps a few degrees... those xigmatek's look cool but they are only 61cfm.
this build really like a wild horses..

Not so much of a victim, but has been retired. When I get the money, I might do something with it, maybe folding or HTPC. I was going to be building a PC for my cousin, but that didn't pan out.
