Managed to get it stable, but had to up the VCOre .Problem here is the temp- I am going to mount a better pump and a larger water reservoir.
BTW, all that stepping hunt -never heard about it at Intel - some Intels that I had were better , some worse, but never in particular series.
Looks that maybe Intel has got a more consistent manufacturing process :p:

Hi guys, are there some memory or bios settings that are needed to get 2.9- 3ghz. Like async latency or something? I can't seem to get over 2.8ghz on any divider using tccd or bh'5 1gb kits. Taking the voltage up to 1.55 doesn't help either. My prime temps are 41-46'c depending on vcore so I don't think its heat. And I'm on water as well. Any input would be appreciated.
Damn..I want 165 like that too. :slobber:Quote:

egh, i'll update that tomorrow
The guy I bought my new 0610 from told me the batch number is: 1434904C60777 so it sounds like I have a winner. It should be here in a few days, I can't wait.
Testing an Opty 165 CCB1E 0609FPMW I got from Monarch a couple of weeks ago...haven't tried higher yet

i updated the database. back up to 63 entries. lots of excellent OC's. i saw a couple of updates this weekend form users with avoid steppings that finally got their chips up to 2600-2700! :woot:
i fixed a bunch of typo's, i know the incorrect date is still there but i'm waiting on a reply from Grinch.
this weekend i finally got my 0615 up to 3006mhz on 1.475v. high temps caused core 0 to fail though. i need some h2o and a dfi. :stick:
My stepping is:Quote:

well, considering i only test for 30 minutes, i would consider anything over 30 min to be prime stable. these are OC boxes, not mission critical DB servers :p:Quote:

The stepping CCBBE 0615EPMW is not to bad.
I could run prime for 53 min before it stopped. With some tweaking I belive it could get stable for much longer.

How long did it last? That's still awesome for a bad motherboard and high temps  Can't wait to play with mine :cheers:Quote:
