Of course, if you have another suggestion for hardware accleration of OpenAL audio and all flavors of EAX, I'm all ears.
There seems to be some new BIOS information over at .......http://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/index.php
looks like EIST and X-FI Soundcards are some of the things mentioned.
Anyone here that can translate from German?
Google can try. LOL.
All for Allendale the CPUen the new beta use, should the energy administration to continuous operation set. EIST does not function unfortunately perfectly with E6300/6400! The achievement becomes more badly in the EIST condition, even burning procedures can break off. And X-fi sound maps have K.F. Until further notice Allendale owners should take the last finally version. HP.: As it, runs EIST with Conroe CPUen looks problem-free… One works in Taiwan on it and we to expect daily a new BIOS.
I don't know what "X-fi sounds maps have K.F." means. Hopefully it means they're fixing it.
All I can say is **********************! What they can say is be aware of using Beta BIOS is your own risk! It's not fair!!!!!! :mad:Quote:

My g/f is quite good at German, so here's the translation (The news is quite bad!)
For everyone using an allendale CPU in combination with the newest betas: Turn energy usage on max (Personal note: I wasn't aware of such an option maybe talking about QST here?). EIST doesn't function flawless on 6300/6400! Performance will go down in EIST mode, even Burning DVDs or CDs could suddenly break down!! And X-Fi cards suffer form K.F (she could translate that one:D )
So no guesses on what "K.F." is?Quote:

So much for the guy who claimed Tuesday that the betas would become official that same day. These betas have definate problems. The E1ST bug, the X-FI issue is a major one and has only been introduced since the latest betas.
I also firmly belive there are issues with the CPU voltage and Vcore options...i think there is some major wall holding E6600-6700 chips back. Clearly the X-FI issue is something in the PCI bus...possibly overclocking is altering the PCI bus frequency out of spec.
Another issue is the USB Keyboard Support error when using a RAID array, if you enable USB Keyboard Support you lose your RAID array...if you also have a SATA optical attached as well.
Also the Intel Matrix RAID bios rom needs to be udpated + the JMicron bios as well.
hahahaha
Whatcha laughing at?
Guys, are there any issues as to stability with which ram slots you use? (i.e 1+3 or 2+4)
Good question...i think most people use the Yellow slots. Seems standard proceadure...in fact, they recomend this.

My computer just broke down in some stange way. Cant enter bios either since I dont get far enough to get that option. It just hangs after checking CPU and memory, screen just show
"memory runs att dual channel Interleaved"
and it gets no further, tried to dissconnect IDE, SATA, All USB and to change the memory to single channel and to change memoryslots and of cause CMOS several times. No change, what shall I do???

hhmm no new bios's damn...
come on gigabyte your gunna be history shortly if you cant get the gskill d9 and teamgroup D9 memory working. i have no use for a board that limits the ram to such a degree.
