Deal Master, nice cable management there .
looks nice from the inside, but that duct tape :shakes:
if you have to work on anything its gonna be difficult. clean cable management is nice, but workable clean cable management is even better :yepp:
get some nice cable clips and wire ties and clean up the backside too
I almost never work on my computer, I set it up and forget it so I'm not in there tinkering all the time. For me, having nice cable management that helped airflow was more important than having nice cable management that was easy to work with. Again, I don't really care what the backside looks like, as long as it makes the part that I can see neat and helps airflow.
Hahah I used to do that all the time. My wife thought I was insane. I guess I've been playing too much Left 4 Dead lately to have time to take the computer apart.
250mm cooler + Eclipse
wow nice pics. i didn't like what that case looked like but you make it look amazing.
Very nice
What specs?
Specs are nothing special. It was a semi budget build for me. I painted the chrome accents black so it looks a little stealthier now, maybe I should paint the inside black too.
E7200 @ 3.51
Asus P5Q Pro
G. Skill DDR2 800
EVGA 9800GT 700/1750/1000
Xigmatek SD964
AC Accelero S1
Antec Earthwatts 500W
Yate Loon medium/high speed fans
AC Ryan cold cathodes
Sunbeam Rheobus modded into drive bay cover
is it easy to remove that cooler master logo (on front of the case)?
It came off easy once I put a couple of drops of adhesive remover from the back of the emblem. After that it came off by pulling it with my finger.
i've just remove it from mine case :) looks much nicer and cleaner
i have also flatten the mesh
Krame, Did you modify the fan controller with that mesh or did you buy it like that?
Nice window.
Just a bit of info about the window. It was cut by water jet. Red and clear acrylic are seperate pieced, glued together. Sits flush with the side panel with border to hold it in.
oh, very nice colours and design:clap:
Nice effect there, well done.
Cable sleeve-tastic
Taking advantage of the chilly weather of late :yepp:
wow amazing ....
Good utilization
what fan is that up on the window sill?
careful KELL5, i did that once and got condensation.
I run my true's 120mm fans an 18v drill charger for extra rpm. It get's quite warm and I hate heat so I actively cooled it with some paste and an old heatsink. Passive wasn't extreme enough so I added a fan :)

Good advice thanks. I have encountered it myself before and so now use a clear vinyl sheeting to create a shroud so all (or any) condensation forms on the outside. The cool air flow from the slightly open window allows the air around the entire rig to remain very cool so I don't usually have to worry unless it hits -5c or lower.
This was last week when we had -9c.

Welcome to XS
I really wished I had some of your talents and making my case clean and tidy. Cable sleeping, cable management etc. My Cm stacker 830 looks so ugly. Want 832!
Btw. How high is a TRUE compared to a Tuniq?
bling this is not lol.
Cooler Master V8 with 1366 bracket cooling an i7. Topped out at 4ghz @ 200x20 1.34v 83C fully loaded. Not bad for an i7.
This is just after I mounted it.
Happy Holiday's XS!
^ yeah those look really sweet

sweet looking fans! and quiet:D

;)
I finally took some time to really tidy up my wiring after being jealous of all the fine jobs done around here. It's still not that great, i might cut a whole to run all the cables behind the mobo tray

will it help if i use a weaker fan for push in a push/pull config??
for example
scythe s-flex 110 cfm 25mm for push
scythe ultra kaze 133cfm 38mm for pull
@Marin
SanAce fans?
Yeah there San Ace's, I so want :D.

will it help if i use a weaker fan for push in a push/pull config??
for example
scythe s-flex 110 cfm 25mm for push
scythe ultra kaze 133cfm 38mm for pull
so how about the ultra kaze 3k rpm
My 900 a long time ago. I wonder why I wanted to replace it, I really liked the way it looked.
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...e/IMG_0544.jpg
Back when it was all together it had:
Motherboard: Asus Commando
CPU: E6300
RAM: 2x1GB Corsair XMS2
GPU: 8800GTS 320MB
Last half of 2007. Stupid BIOS update that allowed me a 45nm upgrade put up a wall at 420 FSB. Any higher=no post :(
That was a nice 900. To bright for my tastes. Would have drove me nuts.
ultra 120 extreme not in yet :{ shipping ftl
@ knissel not bad looking, it'll look a lot better when the TRUE's in :). What fan are to going to use on the TRUE?
idk i think im only going to use 1 120mm
Gonna get a TRUE to replace my current TUNIQ. With 2x S-FLEX 1600RPM, push pull, and another S-FLEX in the back case of my cm stacker 830, then it will be push pull semipull. And then 3 more S-FLEX in the side of the case. Should be pretty sweet.
Heres my computer after I put my UD3P in :).

Awesome v350 mod tremeloes...
The v350 is a very nice case, but it would have been nice for them to have been laid out more like yours is, even just having the psu over the GPU to vent that area would have be awesome... It's been very hard deciding where everything needs to go in my case...
thanks.
took me about 6-8 month to figure out where everything has to be (after first aircooling - than watercooling - mow air again).
Agreed, very nice V350 you have there.
It would be funny if Lian li redesigned the case with your layout and called it a revised edition lol
If they did that I would be all over it.
The problem is even with just like the HDD bays you can run into issues with taller GPU coolers as well. The PSU is a bit shorter than the HDD bays are so that gives you some more room on that side.
The stock setup is just very crowded.
Very nice Tremeloes.
Makes me want to get a V350
nice pc's :D
I think tremeloes has made me start thinking of rehousing my htpc in the living room (hmm)
thank you, guys... :)
@methimpikehoses: is putting that 8cm fan under your 4870x2 helping? how did you mount it?
It's very good at keeping hot air from being trapped under the card. The case window was getting warm before under load, but not anymore.
It's sitting on one of the metal brackets from the back, which is wedges perfectly on top of a support bracket attached to the case directly above the PSU. Then the fan just sits loosely, but it's solid as a rock.
That's a terrible explanation, I'll try to get a pic when I have the chance. :)
Here is that fan mount.
Just use one of the cover brackets:
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...s/100_0944.jpg
Slides right in between the mobo and the case framing
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...s/100_0945.jpg
92mm Fan fits perfectly beneath GPU, no other securing mechanism.
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...s/100_0946.jpg
I may switch out to an 80mm fan that I have because the LEDs one this one are almost too bright, although I might need to find a different way to make it stay put. :)
does that really make a huge difference in temps for the tj-09 if yes i'll do it too.
Yeah, I had four open slots so it was an easy choice. I was noticing before that the window was getting warm after long periods of gaming... this no longer occurs. I don't have precise numbers for GPU temps... but it clearly helps the ambient temps. ;)
Hey everyone, finally got my hands on a HR-03 GTX for my EVGA GTX 260 (65nm 216 superclocked).
Idle around 35 C... to early for load temps as I just installed it.
Anyway, have a look:

These don't show off the colors in my 900 all that well, but that's okay.

man i wish that the arctic cooling and zalman z-machinne GPU coolers can be used on GTX, they look even better than :banana::banana::banana::rofl:
anyways can i use them on GTX anyone?
