Nukke: It sounds like the power supply. Did you test another?
Hey all, I posted a while back with my overclocking problems. It seemed to be caused by my Kingston HyperX PC3500. I stuck in 2x512 of some off brand (at least I think) GamerPro PC3200 and I was able to get up much higher.
My 3000+ is now running at 2520 (2x280), 100% stable in prime, 3dmark03 and 05, and everything else I have thrown at it so far.
Here is a link to a screenshot with CpuZ, SuperPI, CoreCenter, Sandra, and ClockGen.
I am still thinking about getting some other ram, and maybe pushing it a bit further. I was able to get it to around 320 (with a mult of 8), but this was a bit more stable, and I did not want to lower the ram any more.
Any comments? Suggestions for improvement?
