why are you concerned with a vcore of 1.5v???
2.85v on the memory maybe too far out of spec..but vcore of 1.5v is fine
you realize the nv/ati speed up is overclocking your gpu and I would suggest turning it off and retrying your memory speeds...may get what you want ...the videocard maybe adding instabiltiy
I got some BH-6 ram here but it's SPD programmed for PC2700 which with 1.36mod bios seems to default to DDR333 divider even if i set to DDR400 in bios. Anyone got a work around for this ?
Im loving this board, although I cant get it above 260 its really awesome,
most stable overclock is 250 x 11 on 2-2-2-5 1T timings, had 260 x 11 for some serious speed but not stable enough for me.
1 annoying thing tho is that my ram can handle about 270 @ 2-2-2-5 1T but the mobo wont let me, not even 270 x 10 which really bugs me grr.

See I cant even boot 270 x 9 so I am thinking of going Abit Fatality and X850XTPE to see if it can do any better

I have to say this is the awesome place with a lot of information ! Really great site and lots of people who know their stuff.
Now iam thinking to get new system and last couple of days i just read the threads and gather information.Now i decided ,what i want to buy that will fit my budget and will have great specs.
For CPU i choosed AMD 64 3000+ Winnie,as i understand he's good for OC.
Motherboard of course MSI K8N Neo 2 (939) , i hear a lot about this great Mobo.
Memory: OCz Rev 2 is damn too much in my country right now ,so is the Geil Ultra X.
So i decided to go for G.Skill 1024MB (2x512MB) PC3200 DDR400 LA 2-3-3-6 DualChannel Edition as it have good price over here and as i see its very good RAM for OC too.
Also we don't have here the Ocz powerstream PSUs,but we have Tagan wich is produced by the Ocz.
I'll get Tagan TG420-U02 iXeye 420 Watt its great PSU with all Gold-Plated connectors.
And to cool my Winnie i'll get Zalman Cpu Cooler CNPS7000B-Cu LED wich is very silent and it glows Blue ,important because i get clear-side case.
Right now i have ATI Radeon 9800 pro but in near future it will be replaced.
What u think guys? AM i did the home work right ? :)

Currently running 10x240 @ 1.7v atm... seems a bit high for aircooling but Speedfan is reporting 58c running prime95 stress test.
The older of the 2 boards I have does not like my 512MB XMS3500 at all & the newer board seems to only do around 217MHz on the ram @ 3.4v @ 2-2-2-5... Any higher & it fails... Funny thing is that I've had my 2 x 512MB XMS3500 (BH5) running 240MHz @ 3.4v @ 2-2-2-5 on my old P4/IC7-G rig for just under 48 hours memtest stable...
Will update this once I've let prime95 run for a few more hours....
Seems like not much has changed with this 1.5 bios... Need someone like tictac to mod it for more volts...

BTW, can I RMA my older board because it won't run ds BH5?? All I get is beeps when I even try 1 stick... All the more reason for me to sell this $ucker & get the DFI/PCI-E X850XT... Only problem is I've got some VX4000 coming next week...

Is it possibly to get volts up from 1.74 ? I have read page 1 of this thread but i can´t

Anyone noticed if the 1.5 bios sorts out the overly high temperature reading problems?
I'm using official 1.4 and I can't pass 2.5ghz stable for my newcastle, should I change my BIOS? the problem is with vcore 1.5-1.7 my CPU still doing same, can't stable in 2.5ghz....
anyone have the same problem?

Do any of you used AGP Voltage increase for stock card?
I use 1.7v for the AGP all the time... Don't ask me why... I think it's because I've had it set to 1.65v AGP back when I had the IC7-G/9800Pro/9800XT boards...Quote:

As for the 1.5 bios, I have taken it off as I prefer to use the bios to to get more than +10% VID rather than waiting for CoreCenter bull*hit to load up...
Other than that minor problem I can't really see what has changed much with the bios over the past few releases... These bios haven't changed much... Having the option to add +18% VID is the main reason why I keep coming back to the 1.36b bios... Plus the others haven't made my machine any more stable than before...
