Has anyone have had some succes with Twinmos Speed Premium on an MSI NEO2 Platinum at 3.5v+ volts?, I mean 270mhz+ with 512mb sticks
I heard of some guys that the vdd gets really onstable on an MSI NEO2 if you boost your vdd to 3.5v+ and because of that the oc decreases, geen anyone confirm this?

Can anyone help me to choose the best board voor oc'ing?, I don't want a board with an pci-expres slot cause I have a nice agp card.
I wish they were selling de DFI s939 board in the Netherlands but they don't for some odd reason.
Maybe I'll buy one from a German or Belgium shop if they sell them, but I don't know of any good/cheap shops.

I don't know that anyone has actually reported results with the TMSP at those lower voltages and if so, I am quite sure that they are closer to the default ratings of 2.5-3-3-7 than to 2-2-2-x.Quote:

Jupiler is right. I feel really bad about sending ram back to newegg. I haven't sent it back yet, So i am going to hold on to it for a system I'm building for my friend to edit music. He wants 2x512 for cheap so this is perfect. I personally am done buying ddr for now. I have way too many sticks as it is. :)
I might do the same. I have some customers that could use it anyway. ;)

I've been down the road of tring tons of parts for a guart. speed Im after. Now becasue of the time involed and luck and stress I would rather work an extra shift and get something I want without fishing.

they dont even do 2-2-2 timeings for starters... and at looser timeings they make it to 220mhz or so and they dont like volts
One reason I love this ram so much, is because it doesn't have heatspreaders. :D
We'd have to take them off to confirm the chips, anyhow. Memory Heatspreaders are one of my most hated industry trends
yea screw heatspreaders. that'll just raise price by like 10$ even though they are only worth 1$... once heatspreaders are put on them is ram just becomes so much better for the public. *oooh heatspreaders that must be awesome ram*......
