I'll guess that you had to change the MAL and RP of your memory?Quote:

thanks!
kanti is the only CCBBE 0610DPMW owner that is at a low cpu ghz. hes at 2.4. i'm not sure if this is by choice or what though.
Additional Comment:
of course there isn't 1 CCB1E under 2800 on the DB.
There are two different wafercharges in circulation. (XYZ are batch #s)
1.1434904C60XYZ
2.143483AC60XYZ
CCBBE 0610DPMWs with wafercharge of #1 have much better results than those with the second kind. Most people appear to have the #2 and are hitting 2.8 at 1.4v or higher. I can prime at 2.8 with 1.264v with my cpu. It'd be nice if people can post theirs along with their results so we can compare. It's the first 9 digits/characters of the serial number, stamped on the third line of the IHS.
I seriously doubt a CCBBE0610DPMW can only do 2.4ghz. Moreover, I think any (recent) DC can do 2.5, so maybe he's there by choice, lowvolts or something.
BTW itznfb: How's the 0615 doing?
//EDIT: Mine is (was before I killed her) 1434904C6043X and benched at 3050, suicide at 3160 with 1.61v
i don't have mine yet. should be here tomorrow. catkicker is the only one who has given me results with a 0615. but as long as fedex gets there tomorrow, i should have plenty of results tomorrow night.
i need a better motherboard to get true results though :( my peice of crap msi is limited at 323. my CCBBE 0610DPMW which is a 904 btw.... almost does that on stock volts.
Mine's a 904, results in DB.Quote:

ok, mine looks like a 904 but im going to message the seller to be extra sure. thanks guys. hoping it will do better then my CCB1E. think i found the limit of it on air cooling. it wont pass prime on anything higher then 2.8 @ 1.5v
I think you should buy an Ultra-D instead of another 165 :DQuote:

i think his is on the way already so its too late. probably should get rid of the worse OCer to get a Venus even :-D
These CCBBEs, like the CCB1Es are VERY temp sensitive. Higher temps may require bigger vcore, which will just add more heat and eventually just excaserbates the situation and defeats the whole purpose of keeping temps down;).Quote:

i have baught and sold about 50 dc opties so far,,, i have only planned on keeping 4 so far to test..... my first 0604, this 0610, and i have another 0610 on the way, and another 0615.... i don't loose any money on teh cpus, but i wouldn't be able to sell my MSI for anything, its a total loss of money.
On A Related Note:
as i've said before, it will be going up for sale real soon :)
is monarch still shipping 0610DPMWs??Quote:

does the $67 coupon still work?
these still work:
1. AMD Opteron 146 Coupon Code: 51206-120331 $70.00 Off
2. AMD Opteron 148 Coupon Code: 51206-120333 $45.00 Off
3. AMD Opteron 165 Coupon Code: 51206-120339 $70.00 Off
4. AMD Opteron 170 Coupon Code: 51206-120341 $35.00 Off
5. AMD Opteron 175 Coupon Code: 51206-120343 $50.00 Off
Do guys think a 170 CCB1E 0550VPMW is worth a $512 investment? This is suppose to be the best stepping for 170's I guess. Hoping to reach 3 GHZ with it.

Make sure your RAM timings are right where they should be. I guarentee that you CPU doesn't like high voltages, and is picky about RAM timings as you get in to the 2.8Ghz area. These are the variables that held me back.Quote:

It is the best stepping for 170, but not all are great. In reality, the only thing that matters is how high it can go. I had the same stepping and it was below average, so it was worthless to me:rolleyes: .Quote:
