The booster isnt compatible... I think it uses the same method as the booster. I could be wrong so best to ask Hipro5
I guess we'll have to see :D
ive pmed hipro5 several times about it and allhe will tell me is that its being tested soon, ive even offered beta testing to no avail.
well i must be dreaming ... :DQuote:

for now it works just fine with the MSI Neo2 :D
Stupid MSI issue makes my UTT go 'only' at 240Mhz!
now i gained 3Mhz!! so 243Mhz and i look forward for a DFI 939!
(hipro5 did 260 with my DIMMs on his AS8)
I had a similar experience. My VX only did 248 in the neo2 with ddr booster. I put them in single channel dfi nf3-250 and they did 264 2x512.Quote:

i ll have to face it ... my board hates Winbond!
I think that board has a problem regulating the voltage from ddr boosters and it just can't handle high vdimm. I noticed the vdimm would flux a lot. After a while the board just decided to quit on me and I was unable to achieve any overclock above stock. Needless to say, after 2 of them, I am not going to buy anymore.
Was playing around with my vdimm, and goodness it makes a big difference - Not sure how much higher I can take this ram, but it keeps going until my power supply can't give it what it needs.
MUST HAVE MAXIMIZER to uncover the limits of this UTT
here's my module, in case anyone cares.

Are the SpeedPremium or TwiSTER PRO available to purchase to distributors in Eastern Europe ?[QUOTE]
sorry - not possible...
I can only speak of german sales - send email ti TwinMOS Netherlands to verify where to find these modules in your country.
OK guys,
I stickied this thread for the time being but I suggest that everyone reads this forum rule again :
This is regarding RMA'ing your hardware.Quote:
12. The management of this Forum does not condone theft, trading in stolen property, fraudulent return of merchandise, or the aiding and abetting of those who do. Any such discussions regarding stolen property or fraudulent returns will be dealt with swiftly, and the offending member risks complete loss of membership privileges in our Forums.
If the memory you bought works at the rated speeds, then I see no reason why it should be RMA'ed back to the store you bought it from.
In this case, any RMA is considered as fraudulent.
So discussions like these are out of the question and will not be allowed, resulting in the topic being closed and removed.
Hope this is clear for everyone.
thx for that Jupiler ;)
will you keep an eye of those who do this bull**** ?
So guys, sorry to barge in on you guys but I didn't have the time (nor patients for that matter  ) to look trhough the 31 pages here.
SO my question is the following, I'm about to buy ram
Apacer RAM but it hasn't come in yet.
So I can still cancell my order and buy me a gig of Twinmos(2x512)
From this site (it's dutch but I i just wanna know)
http://comtechnology.be/shop/product...28b7c322302eac
Now could you guys tell me if those would be the ones with VX chips? I KNOW they are "new" makes so not old ones because for one they sell a lot of those things and they always buy only what they need so never in big quantities.
EDIT:
http://comtechnology.be/shop/product...28b7c322302eac
Those are cheaper and since I do not have dual channel I don't need something that'll cost me 20 bucks more :)
will those have the chips also?
(presumably)
So PLEASE
Post here if you think those can be the ones with them chips
I'm sure I can sell my current RAM for like 80 euro's or something (cheapass Apacer DDR 3200 with TCCC chips) just when I put on some of them boards that they'll clock to a decent 420MHZ with enough volts etc and on good timings.
But as said thats not the problem, please let me know if those could be the ones.
although 160 is a bit expensive for a gig (well not really my apacer 512module I orderd is 90 euros so.....) I'm still willing to try it out :) espesially knowing i can get about 80 euros out of my apacer ram
BTW I do not plan on directly buying me a booster so will about 2.8-2.9Volts cut it? :)
They have to reach about 220 mhz and good timings on those volts
thanks in advance!!!!!!!
:brick:
look for AA4T or rtf thread
hey alonso, you might wanna read my post carefully.
They don't order unless something is orderd from them.
They've had a LOT of burglary's latly so they switched to this polecy. can't blame'm either they got like 10 burglary's in a span of a good 2-3 months!!!!!!!
So I can't go there and say Hey Can I look at the Twinmos ram?
I just wanna know if they are possibly it (how much change there is to it)
Because those single 512MB modules only cost 72 euros so I can surely get rid of my other ramstick apacer for 70->80 euros around here so I can buy me a gig of that, but I have to know there is a good possibility of it
And and btw, cool it will you? I may not be around for long on these boards people DO NOT like it when they get flamed.
People here are verry helpfull and so am I but you really need to try NOT to go off at people. It's bound to recoil
You're registerd since january 2003 so you're most likly know more about these boards and the people then I do but if you think that the above does not apply to people here, then be sure it applies to me.
I serisuly DO NOT like to get barked at so if you wanna bark at people go do it somewhere else and not on a forum where people come for their enjoyment ok?
and also I KNOW i have to look for AAT4 and the dots etc but I just asked for the liklyhood of those being equipped with them chips. Not if they where them for sure
I'd be keeping the twinmos that I ordered myself as I know it was a gamble. But the Garbage I recieved will not even post. I am RMAing for legitemate reasons.Quote:

That said, everyone should accept that it is still a gamble at the moment, if you lose out and the RAM does what it says on the sticker, live with it.
Has anyone actually tried settings other than 2-2-2? If they dont mind higher latencies... Not only is this ram VX killer, it could be TCCD killer as well (if we can keep increasing the fsb)
[I know it's been mentioned, but I havent seen any results, and I'm away from my pc right now]
Calm down a bit! ;)Quote:

How the hell should he know what this particular shop is selling??? If it's new stuff, then your chances are quite good, to get the Winbond UTT chips. But you'll never know without having any detailed info from the shop.
Get that RAM or leave it. We can't tell you what you'll get, because we don't know it either. How should we.
BTW, it would've been enough to read some (~5) of the pages to know what to look for. No need to read all 32.
