Do you like your RDX200? My venice (3200+) is currently doing 2.9Ghz on it with only the usual problems of the board constantly locking up after saving in bios and during the boot process. I pray each night that there will be a new bios on the DFI website.Quote:

Well I don't know what you did in the bios edbut my x2 4800+ is running quite nice I have to say. I now can rather easily get 300Mhz 1:1 which I couldn't get near with my previous abit.Quote:

Besure just plug in your ATX power and 12v 8 pins connector, listen very carefully for the chipset area. and turn on the psu swich on the rear side of the PSU. See if there is the weird sound like high frequency air blow, if yes. don't put your CPU on.
i think he means a weird sound without pressing the power switch. maybe the sound is too much voltage getting pumped into the chipset or board.Quote:

As for the eXpert I haven't heard much great about it, except the wider gab between pci-ex, but if it snap CPU's with no warning, I just think I'll stick with my nf4-d@nf4 sli-d a little longer.

this always seems to happen to dfi, not nice how come this is such a nrmal thing on their mobos? they dont test them in the labs?

I will not be investing in this baord untill the bugs with it are sorted. When will DFI release a bug free product??? NEVER!!!!
Well, Oskar told me he will personally order a cascade to test in the future.
OPB did they say anything about replacing the CPUs?
Yes, Oskar promise that already, but I don't know if AMD can replace me the great CPU I owned.;)

Doesnt the high pitch whine pre-post signify poor filtering? Sounds like high frequency interference to me.

on a diff note. I have x2 on Modded Mach1 and it's fine. The shipping bios sux though. Needs update. After that on TCCD(Mushkin) I'm running fine near 3.1ghz stable.
The whole killing cpu thing is distressing. I don't have expert yet, but would expect DFI to be on top of things. There must be certain set of circumstances that are leading to death. If we find that out, maybe we can avert?????
