Well, you said "safe". I stop at 1.7v for air cooling on these .13 AMD64 chips. That's my rule of thumb for safe operation at extended run times.

4800 @ 3-4-4-8

or

4400 @ 2.5-3-3-7 (which easily goes over 300mhz @ 3-4-4-8 anyway)

Its all about the ratings on the package, that's all. Check the fine print.

Yes I have seen lot of tasty screenshots about TCCD-chips, but the memorymodules GSkill sent me weren't really worth a thing.
It was just my review on the chips that they sent me, it's not like I got 20 pairs and tried everyone of them. Wish I did ;)

Just got a bad pair I guess, hope you all get good one's :D

Sometimes it's nothing to do with your "poor sticks" ;)
Great reviewer is just like John, figure out the problem cuz there might be the memory controller in your cpu or somthing else unless you state that you test 20 different pieces of CPU and you can close the case and said"Gskill is not impressed me"!:D

those sticks were tested on A64 S754 mobo and 3700+ cpu, A64 S939 mobo and FX-53, Asus P5P800 and Intel P4 550 processor. With identical results.

You think it's still the freaking mem controller?!?

So I say case closed and Gskill didn't impress me.

Those are unbuffered results with 754 and 939, tomorrow will test another cpu and motherboard to see how those act in via board.

Your running Sandra buffered. Mark the "Disable buffering" tab and you'll start getting the same results.

Sorry I didn't read your review but did Gskill hit their rated timings? Thats all you can really ask afterall. Anything else is bonus points.

This is what I got the other night on my 3500+ (0.13) and Neo2. Running 2.5 T1, 2.6V..

GSkill which I bought in Kaohsiung (TW) a few weeks ago. Older TCCD with label

400 2-5-2-2
500 2.5-6-3-3
560 3-8-4-4

Still wrong BIOS and prelimanary testing.

Did not cost much...

Wonder if this works, pretty new to posting!

It worked at 200Mhz(DDR400) CAS2.0-2-2-5, which I said in the review is a great thing, since not all memories are capable of handling the fastest timings even at DDR400. Also Gskill promises it to work at DDR600 CAS3.0-4-4-8 if only one stick is used. However I didn't even bother to try this since single channel doesn't really matter to me.

Yes, Gskill did everything they promised and more, but I was disappointed about it's overclocking potential since I have seen great results in here for example.

I have a couple sets of BH-5's running 2-2-2-5 in dual channel almost at the same FSB the Gskill can do 3-4-4-8, what am I gonna do with it? Yes, I stick it in my gaming rig or something that runs quite stock, where it serves well.
