heres hoping the new batch are the same or newer then!

Well, well, well, all I can say is:
IMHO these CPUs seem to need some serious burn in for voltages above 1,75V and high frequencies. On the first day I had it, I tried 1,8V (in bios) and 2,5Ghz, just to see if it could post, but it wouldn't. Then I ran prime at 1.6V 2400 MHz for some time and tried again and with 1,7V (again set in bios, so not the real voltage) and it booted and worked fine! Then today I tried the same setting after having run the chip with 2400 Mhz and 1,55V some days and it didn't boot. Very strange behaviour of this chip, although not bad! :D
Ngh, looks like a load of orders got deleted, including mine.
Next batch is in 1st APRIL! 2004
The site is utterly useless - i cant login, track, or get my password emailed to me.
Great
on my account on their website, it still says "order has not been confirmed"
Anyone know what this means? do they not confirm the order until they recieve stock?
You have to confirm the order. Take a look at your email inbox ;)
Yeah, I looked at their email, but they have not given me a confirmation number anywhere and in the small print at the bottom it says credit card payments don't require confirmation.
Would never of thought doing something as simple as buying a CPU could be so difficult :(
thanx for the reply
There's a button for confirmation at the Track & Trace page.
Edit: Oh, no confirmation with credit card payment.. try to contact them if there's no confirmation button and nothing happens.
OK thanx. I have already emailed them, hopefully I'll get a response tomorrow.
All seems fairly odd, don'nt think I've ever had to confirm a credit card transaction in my life! thought that was half the point of credit cards.
No offence, but I think you didn't quite get it ;)Quote:

Every order their has to be confirmed on the status webpage that you get the link to, just directly after having finished the order. On that page there is a link on top, in danish (or whatever). You have got to click on that link to confirm the order. That's all. Then your order will be proceeded. :toast:
I can see my order if I log on to my account using track and trace. but there is no confirm button. It says "Order has not yet been confirmed" accross the top but there is no button.
I assumed it was cause it was out of stock initially, but having read the small print It does'nt sound like it is
That's really strange! When I had finished my order I got an e-mail a minute later with a link to the confirmation page. There I had to click the link and then the order was confirmed. Have a look at you e-mails from the day you ordered, again. ;) Perhaps you just missed the link.
Ok, I've got three chips now, one for me and two for another member here. I expected AQYHA 0350's, but I didn't get that... anyone seen any of these before? What do you think?
Y911893A4XXXX IQYFA 0345 SPMW
"Y" and IQYFA should be good, right?
Can't test before I get a mobo in a few days. :(
I think you are one lucky bastard, Endre! :toast:
"I" chip and a 35 watter... :slobber:
How did they do? I found the other thread, but you never posted max speeds...
Just ordered one 35w XP-M 2400+ from itbutikken.de today cant wait to se what it will perform in my system :slobber:
Max Super PI 1M with air cooling and ~5C outside air: 2843MHz (with 1,95v or so). Max Primestable with the same cooling and voltage ~2760MHz. Haven't testet much with high voltage in normal room temperature. This chip really likes a little low temps (and I don't get those with my current cooling). Sensitive thing.Quote:

I think what's most impressive is 2600+ stable with less than 1,7v. :D
So, maybe it will respond better to higher voltage if I cool it down better... we'll see.
I´ll try 2,0volt and RBX water cooling right from the start :D
Start lower... none of the CPUs I've tested likes voltage over 2v. This one is best at 1,96-98v or so. And this loves the voltage compared to the batchno 11 one... Of course it will probably like it a little better with some better cooling, but they are generally not voltage-hungry CPUs.
Can't wait for US retailers to stock these...
Ok thanx for the advise. I´ll take it easy from the start then :)Quote:

Just some burn in, and then they probably looooves high voltages :) mine does 2600MHz primestable @ 1.875v almost at 1.85v but then prime died after a few hours.. before i couldn't get it stable at that speed, but now i can :) thou i don't know if i want to run my ram @ 3.3v 24/7..Quote:

I have done a little burn-in, but it didn't help at all.
3,3v 24/7 should be fine with that RAM.
I Have Ramsinks & a 80mm fan blowing over them and the sinks insn't even hot now.. used without fan before but then the sinks got burning hot then :O also i have put cooling on the mosfets under the Ramslots..Quote:

I wonder how it will work to run with a divider on Lanparty card and a mobile. My RAM wount do more than 220fsb
