I don't care about credit I care about people's perception of Danger Den, about how things are handled in the future, and about delineating between XS management and Danger Den or other companies I deal with (as should you-should be separation so XS does not have appearance of preference).
Well done guys and well done for getting it sorted. just proves that being nice gets things done quicker and look's more professional. well done DD for sorting the problem out to.
This business is a small one and water cooling will never make any one rich so by all working together works best for every one. no matter who the competition is.
I've found in life that most people if you speak to them in a friendly manner and with respect will return the same.
This was the case with the guy I spoke with at DD.
A gentleman to deal with.
There is a bit more to this but the bottom line is you couldn't have asked for better than I got from them and I never mentioned being an admin here, just spoke as one of the members.
Perceived reputation can make OR break a company, glad they chose the right road.
I just wonder if this post hadn't been made and others gotten involved, whether or not DD would have resolved this. I would like to think that it was just a matter of having a misinformed rep.
I've had nothing but good dealings with DD so far myself. A couple of builds ago about 2 yrs ago, I posted a request to see if I could find someone I could pay to laser cut some small acrylic pieces for me for a res. Dennis replied to the thread, and cut the pieces for me and went one step further and even laser etched in a design all basically for nothing. I challenge anyone to find anyone else who would do that.
fully agree.
now im not nearly as old as you, but ive worked my share of customer service, and know the difference between someone who has natural patience and understanding, vs someone who really dosnt care and dosnt want to deal with anything.
i use to work for comp-usa, and i had some guy call the store completely pissed off and flipping out. after a short conversation we came to a conclusion on what will be done, when he came into the store to do the swap, he had a smile on his face. there was no way i would have guessed that was the guy i was originally talking too.
trust is kinda like a bank loan, but of respect. the first one to give trust takes the risk of the loan, hoping the other person will pay it back on time.
You pushing my buttons today Richard?
Ok,I'll bite and answer you this way:
If your talking about who I think you are it's a non issue.
That POS wouldn't have the cojones to show up anywhere I would be because he knows in his heart that nothing would stop me from getting my hands on him and I mean nothing.
I'd do time just to get a hold of him and the hell with the consequences.
That answer your question Richard?
Got home from work today and there was a brand new pump on the doorstep :)
Agreed, that was fast!
:clap::clap::clap::clap:
Good deal. Nice job with the update on the first post. It nice to hear DD got this resolved fast. :)
